Morning:D just about to have my porridge and start the day although so far DS and OH refuse to get out of bed(they know shopping is coming:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: ) I have just finished my CV not that there is much on it, I need a job, moved to Kent, house lovely 3 months later all painted and spick and span but now I am bored:rolleyes: need a focus, thought it would be easier but credit crunch and all that jobs are scarce, doesn't help so much that I do have a driving license but lost my nerve and don't drive so the job has to be within a bus trip or walking, had a rumour that they needed a person at the local CO-op so I galloped up there (well strolled very slowly:rotfl: :rotfl: ) they said no, never heard of a vacancy and so I raced(walked:rotfl: ) back home and start again;)
I feel like I am not qualified for anything, I look in the paper and it says chartered this and sales person that, qualified this and certified that and none of it applies to me:rolleyes:0 -
Morning! Well done kymrob, 3lbs is great!
Good luck with the jobhunt victory, there'll be something somewhere, I'm looking myself so know how you feel about boredom and needing focus.
Happy (belated, sorry) birthday tagz.
I demolished rather too many crisps last night, had a wispa too, all washed down with beer. It was yummy, but I feel so guilty now. Why is it that evenings make me feel I 'deserve' junk
I wish they didn't. On the other side I only indulge on weekend evenings these days, where it used to be most nights. Still doesn't help with the weight loss.I'm going to make an effort to walk to Sainsbugs each week, cos its the only place that sells small packs of my fave crisps. Everywhere else only does 'family' packs, and well, you can guess the rest:rolleyes:
Anytime;)0 -
Afternoon all,
Completed your survey Vix, nice and short
Just relaxing with a cuppa before I have to go to work. Been to the gym today, back on the full program now. The first 2 times back from hol I took it easy as I hadn't been for a week.
So nice to get back to the stream room, it's like a little treat after my workout :rotfl:

Victory, good luck on the job hunting front. Have you been looking in the Kent Messenger - it is usually full of jobs, not just the professional ones. I was in Maidstone this morning, lots of shops are advertising for temporary staff - I guess getting ready for the Christmas season - are you near one of the larger towns like Canterbury, Ashford, Chatham, Maidstone, Rochester etc you may be able to get something temporary whilst you carry on looking.

Reporting a 0.2lb gain this week, on 12882 calories. Not bad considering it did include lots of homemade choc fudge cake (OH's birthday), too many chocolate truffles and choc biscuits brought in to one of the meetings at work on Friday (naughty man :rotfl: ). There does seem to be a chocolate theme running through my week - probably my biggest downfall.

Haven't watch it kpc but have generally got the picture from various revues. At some frineds for dinner last night an they have several apple trees. The said they been haveing work done by various tradesmen and tried to off load free cooking apples on them all, but they have all said, no point, my wife doesn't cook. Of course they don't either, but it does seem astonishing. Cooking apples is so simple and if you're not up to pastry, then just serve with icecream or summat.
Felt really fed up today - every reason and no reason, so trying to ignore it. Doesn't help that weight is geting an issue - I've been on an increased dose of an essenial drug I take and they make me really hungry. Just dropped the dose back down so I'm hoping it'll help me reverse the trend. I'm threatening myself with a return to sw classes if I haven't dropped 2lbs by wednesday. At the moment I am 1/2 over my comfort zone:( .
Kpc - thanks for the explanation re ajax; at least he is ok. I've missed pet a lot too beanie, but I knew someone had been intouch by PM and she was kind of ok but dealing with a lot at the mo.
