Just around and about really Bb + FFM. I've not used MSE in months but now popped back to see updates on Icesave (yeah I'm one of them), decided to look at the thread, clicked back a couple of pages and was astonished to see my nick, so I thought I'd say hello.

I'm not hit at all by Icesave... yet! If it reaches mid January I'll be extremely worried as the Icesave money is my whole current exposure to stoozes (12k) and also the profits I've ever made from them (3.5k). The first 0% card deal to end is late January, and there's 7k on there so I'll be looking at paying card interest for the first time in my life. Grrr!! I'm hoping that Gordy will be trying to save face by not letting there be a position whereby parents are clogging up local news broadcasts saying they can't afford to buy kids' Xmas presents as the govt haven't acted swiftly enough.

It all puts the Bayeux in life's rich tapestry.

I won't clog up the thread any longer - if anyone wants to holler then facebook is your friend... it's always a pleasure to hear from you. If anyone wants to holler but doesn't have the details, there are lots on here who do lol.

I did a bootsale today, made £7.65 profit, and managed to avoid the delishous smelling burger van. C gave in to a Yorkie bar, but I held strong with a yogurt I'd brought along.

Hey Raph, well done on the boot fair. I went with DS today, his first. We made £8.62 profit each (as we split the proceeds - equal effort and all that). DD made £20.50 - we were selling lots of Barbie stuff on her behalf - so as a family not a bad day. Haven't made up my mind what to spend my £8.62 on :rotfl: .
