  • Missy, well done on the maintaining :T

I like the idea of a 4 week average, for me this is currently -0.4lb :D

I haven't got any particularly inspiring photos, but I did keep my largest pair of trousers which I like to try on and show the family - usually accompanied by 'look at all this space' - think it's wearing thin on them, but I still love it.

    Gert, congratulations :j

    Bails, have fun :D

    Great Gert!

Some wonderful losses around --- starlight however you did it, 5lb in a week is amazing (or are you missing some vital body part?)

Don't seem to have as many people as usual on the chart for this stage in the week. Where are you?

I'm thinking that I'll hide a few rows on the chart before I put it on the forum this week, just the people whio haven't posted a WI this month. Would that be ok? They'll still be there, it will just look tidier.

    Happy hols, Bails

So far the total loss for the week is 11.2lb. When I post that loss could be entirely counteracted by my gain. I'm having the opposite problem to starlight.

Totally ok Granny - I usually do that when I'm doing the chart. In fact, when I first joined the forum, the usual practise was that you had to formally sign up at the start of each month to be on that months chart - it wasn't a rolling program. I think it much more satisfying to have small but complete chart: keeps the energy up if you know what I mean.

  • i'm back from the wilds! YOu'll all be pleased to hear that I'm not eating squirrel. We went out in the morning and managed to flush out a couple of pheasants and hares but our waterlogged hawks weren#t quick enough off the mark. We had high hopes for th afternoon as it had stopped raining, and sure enough, within half an hour they'd all got soemthing - on the other side of an 8 foot ditch! By the time we scambled over they'd practically eaten all of it - a black rat. Unfortunately, because they'd been rolling around in a puddle with a rat, we now had a second set of wet hawks, who were sulking because we'd taken their rat away. We've been given a free morning or afternoon session later in the year. Foodwise was fairly good sat, bad sun, and very bad mon. I did go and do a 40 minute sesh on the crosstrainer in the hotel though!

Well done gert on the new job! What will you be doing?

Thanks peeps I really appreciate the nice words about me finally getting to grips (I hope) with this calorie/exercise malarky :D

Congrats Marion, Raph and Starlight on losses, happy hols Bails, well done on the job Gert. I love hearing all the positive stuff!

I should have kept an item of clothing FFM.... haha I can just imagine your family rolling their eyes :rotfl: I did just replace 2 sets of pyjamas, the last ones I bought were when I'd just reached target and didn't realise how small I actually was (and cos I don't like PJs to be too snug), so I still bought a 12-14  which of course as I've toned up more and more this year, had become like a tent on me :rotfl:

40 mins on the x-trainer is fab KPC! That's an excellent machine for getting your heart rate up efficiently.

I went ice skating yesterday, was even brave enough to attempt some spins which I haven't done since my younger days :o I'm sure it wasn't pretty but I did them (ish)!!! Oh, and Graeme Le Saux was there practising his skating, wonder why that might be ;)

  • Ooh well done gerturdeana! I don't have to worry about TOM anymore but I think we still have a hormonal cycle though, I have noticed it in myself.

Dinner - Pasta bake with quorn pieces plus mixed vegetables with fruit and yogurt for dessert.(free+free+6syns(cheese in pasta bake)+free)
Snacks - scan bran cakes throughout the day 6 syns
