  • spits food at screen laughing at the idea......(god, 3.20 and only just getting lunch)..........:rotfl:

He doesn't turn up until the food is on the table at night - (often literally- I have to phone and whinge when it gets past 8, which is most nights - often it takes more than 1 call!), he then falls asleep on the sofa. He then goes to work, but on Saturdays goes home (he says he has his own house to look after but I never hear of much progress:rolleyes: ) and Sundays he goes to football and then back to the club.

I have asked, told, whinged, nagged, moaned at him to be here to spend a bit of time with me before dinner but he won't. I've also tried all the lines possible to get him to spend some time with me on a Saturday and failed, although with AQA I need the time anyway.

Must be nice for him to be able to have a social life

erm........well he fixed the tap in the bathroom recently after it running for 2 months (and even then I got the blame for it taking so long because apparently I was supposed to put that limescale stuff on each day to losen the top).......

Right, lunch is finished. Better get on. Either AQA or putting together a one day course which I'm doing in a week. I fancied having a 'what the hell' moment and going out tonight to the pub I used to drink in but I haven't anything to wear!

well now if ANYBODY did that with me their dinner would get put out and left on the plate and they would have to eat it cold:mad:

i know we have all said it before but why do you put with this treatment and behaviour?

Please use some of your new found confidence to tell him to sling his hook

I didn't go back :( I just don't have the time to commit to a regular Monday or Friday night until at least next April. I can't take on anything else on top I'm afraid.

oh, blimey, that free t-shirt :rotfl:  . I'd only be able to go out in it if I didn't breathe all evening - it was skin tight and kind of 'molded' all my lumps and flab together!!

Thing is Jinky - if I let the food go cold, I'd eat alone 7 nights a week and he'd just microwave his. I could see him just turning up later and later each night. We have 'words' about the situation probably about once a fortnight but it's almost as if he does it deliberately sometimes.

I did make a rather pointed comment last night after I said he should go to bed - he was asleep on the sofa. He said he didn't want to and I should stop telling him what to do. I said it was only because I would be waking him anyway when he was deeper in sleep and he said 'well, just leave me here'. I said I'd be leaving him there 7 nights a week if that was how it worked and he said 'well?' So I told him he might as well just be the lodger then if he preferred the sleeping arrangements of a single man. :D
