  • morning all!

What a lovely day it is going to be again today. All this sunshine is just wonderful.

I'm off to Tesco in a minute so I can be out by the time they officially open (they open a 9.30 on a sunday and you can start going through the tills at 10) to get the bits Ididn't have time to get yesterday and the bits of ingredients I don't have for class on Tuesday.

Then back to do as much AQA as possible. Today is the last day I'll be able to do any this month as I'm at a meeting all day tomorrow and then work and then teaching Tuesday.

BB I bet you cant wait for your Holiday:rolleyes: ...how long now?
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Lou,
You will need at least 1 mtr and probably more to do a hamper so 10mtrs won't go that far-how many are you planning on doing?
Save any bits of packing you might get to put in the bottom of your hampers and then cover that up with your tissue. If you are feeling inventive, you can use other things to be the lining (ie if you are doing a 'housewarming hamper' you can use dish towels) sorry if I am telling you something you alreay know! Your beef and ale cassorole (or Kassiroles as they are known in my family! lol) sounds GORGEOUS! One of my all time favourites!

  • Jinky-good luck for your tattoo today-what are you having?
I have almost decided what I am going to have (but still MUST watch much more Miami Ink to finalise ;))

Now all I need to do is find a good artist around me....

Hello, it's a lovely day here too so will be making a wee picnic and heading off to a beach for a walk with DS in a bit.

Good luck with the tattoo Jinky, hope it doesn't hurt too much. Bunny what is it you fancy getting?

    Thanks Bunny!

I am only plannng to do 2 hampers one for MIL and one for Grandad, I mainly want to use it to make my own gift sets up, like the lynx ones I was on about yesterday.

I rekon that I could get a shower gel, deodorant and and a bar of chocolate in one for less than the £5 they were charging for a box with deodorant and shower gel in:rolleyes: ..just need to keep my eye out for any good offers.

  • I already have a large celtic sun on my lower back and I want to make it more 'pretty' -and coming off either side of it, I am going to put my childrens' name in lovely writing (ok, I'm not describing it very well) I want incorporated in the writing either their birth flowers or a princess crown for Freya and a Sun for Joe (because he's my son-is that corny?)

  • Oh, then that will be plenty! If you're doing things like toiletries, use a piece of cardboard and cover it in pretty paper, then use sticky tape on the bottoms of the items to stick them to the board, it helps to keep it looking more upright and neat and tidy-once again, if I am preaching to the converted, sorry!
