Entering comps that aren't relevant..

Firstly apologies if this is in the wrong place but I couldn't find anywhere suitable to post.
Just wondering if people enter comps that might not necessarily be relevant to them - for example 'Funkyfogey' competitions when you're a 20 yr old, or industry specific competitions - for example venue finding website comps that seemed to be more aimed at MDs of companies when you're a stay at home mum - that type of thing.
Just curious really:o

Hi , no I only ever enter comps that are relevant to me and my family and comps that have prizes that I want and can use. There are so many comps on here that there are bound to be plenty that suit and so I don't waste my time on any others.
I always look at the T&Cs and check entry criteria and the dates of tickets and breaks so that I dont enter for any prizes I couldn't use. I don't see any point in winning prizes that I can't use and depriving someone else who could use them.
Allthe very best to youMany thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0 -

Gotta say - do comping for a larf only - and enter things that I know my family and friends would love but just can't afford - I see it as treats - fair play Muffy0 - Ebay selling is hard work! :T xxx"You give a little love and it all comes back to you! La La La La La La La!"Just loving comping and the good guys here!0

Ebay is quite hard work - but I like the thrill of seeing stuff go up at the last minute. Comping is most definitely my hobby, I really enjoy doing it. I don't enter comps that I wouldn't be able to use or ebay though and lets be honest here, how many people entered the tractor comp and how many of them have a farm? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Taking a slight tangent - I've entered some for golfing breaks in places I fancing visiting in the hope that I don't have to play golf if I don't want to!
Same with some of the skiing hols. I've got a spare wrist brace if needed!
