I thought this was a grabbit forum, not a place to rate computer games? If you don't want to buy it, don't, there is no need to go on about it!Over-worked but happy mum

Just saying "you're sad for what you do in your life, not like me, who is great" doesn't sound that funny to me?
I know what you mean but, like I said, I just thought it was funny..... It didn't in anyway make me think of you as sad...0 -
I have been searching loads for either a cheap wii or a good value bundle package for christmas (Yes I know it's still september, but I'm sure they will sell out again in the run up) I've found a few worth looking at.
1. Wii on it's own £159.99 from this online retailer... (I don't know how reliable they are)
http://www.shopto.net/page.php?page=search&matcat=&categ=&platform=&codarts=WIICO00&layout=0
(limited to 1 per customer)
2. WHSMITH (INSTORE ONLY, NOT WEB OFFER) Wii package with additional games: Big Beach Sports (£19.99 instore price) and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 (£39.99 instore price)
Total package - £179.99.... This is the package I went for and the offer wasn't available in my local WHSMITH, but I came across it in Hammersmith store... bargain I say
3. GAME - Wii with free Mario Kart and 1 steering wheel £179.99
4. Currys - (Instore, I had to ask them for their offers)
Wii package with additional 2 games: Big Beach Sports (19.99) and Star Wars - The Force unleashed (34.99 - Instore price)
Total Package £199.99
So there you have it... in my opinion the WHSMITH deal is the best but it depends what games you want. :-)0 -
I have also pre-ordered this game, a couple of months back with Amazon.
Looks more suitable to my youngest 2 children though I am sure we will all be on it.
As for how many games I have personally bought for the Wii, I am actually shocked at how many we have. Just as big a collection as my 15 yr old has for his Xbox 360. Not to mention all the extra accessories. In fact if you take all that into accout our Wii collection is larger than my son's.
Yes I am one of the mum's that play the Wii and my kids think it is great as I have become more understanding of their request for more games to play. It is now me and not them thats looks out for the up and coming games releases. Its better to be late in this life than early in the next one.

HI, I just so excited I found this website and also the fact that about the wii family trainer. I defo not a :spam: or work for any of these companies. LOL I promise to not use as many !!!!! 's
I have a wii fit and its defo not like that more like a dance mat. When i collect it on Saturday I will let you all know. How does that sound?
Am I excused?
:j
So what is it like?0 -
I like the idea of being able to jump on it without being scared of breaking it (like the Wii fit!!).
Also, it would be good for anyone who cant afford/doesnt have a Wii fit. Something to either use in the mean time or use as an alternative.
Actually looks quite fun, a bit like playing the good old Mario platform, but being in the game yourself. :rotfl:0 -
