Wii Family Trainer
The Great New Game From
Atari and Nintendo Wii
The Wii Family Trainer is estimated to be a huge hit with families as more parents are looking for fun, innovative ways to get their kids to become more active especially when childhood obesity rates are at an all time high.
The Family Trainer allows the entire family, including friends, to get physical by engaging the whole body in a variety of easy-to-understand , fast-paced and insanely entertaining game activities. The game includes the patented Family Trainer mat controller which allows players to get totally physical in a series of crazy, fun and challenging games. Unlike previous games of the Wii, which focus mainly on the using the arms, the Family Trainer will get the lower body involved also by using the feet for total body play within the games. Can you imagine what this will do for over weight kids that are just accustomed to sedentary sit-down play on their couches? A truly innovative leap into the future of gaming indeed!
The controls are simple and allow for intuitive game play making the game incredibly easy to pick up and play. Players of any age can get involved really. From tests performed at gaming expo's, many users report incredible fun while playing the game.
There are more than a dozen frantic single and multiplayer modes to choose from and all are based on outdoor challenge fields. The family trainer offers incredibly amusement for the entire family such as river rafting, mine karting, log jumping, rope skipping, high jumps , and so much more! The possibilities for fun with this game are endless!

The game playing locations take place in a variety of very colorful locations and the graphics are amazing! Incredibly interactive and you feel like you really are “in the game”, so to speak. Some locations include ancient ruins, rain forests and even a incredibly fun , haunted mansion complete with tons of scary zombies. There is even a fairytale land where riding on toys and floating on clouds are the main theme. This is a truly ingenious game!

Sounds a lot like a wii fit.....2014 running challenge 471.95 km / 1000 km.0

The original poster, who is a newcomer, is certainly fond of exclamation marks. I'd be suspicious that he or she was a spammer, but why would Woolworths, or Atari, or Nintendo bother to spam an internet forum? Maybe he or she is just a bit.... excitable.0

Hmm, has been slated in the press for being too basic and repetative:
Ngamer gave it the following:
OVERVIEW
Wii Fit meets Wii Sports but forgets the good bits from both. Just picture a handfull of atheltic-based mini games.
GRAPHICS - 5/10
The Miis stand out the best-looking on-screen objects, which speaks volume.
AUDIO - 4/10
You know the repeat button for playing tracks over and over? It's automatically sellected here.
GAMEPLAY - 3/10
Thoroughly enjoyable until you start to repeat game, which happens barely 20 minutes in.
INNOVATION - 3/10
And old product recycled. At least Wii Fit's balance board will be supported by future titles.
SUMMARY
As an energetic game, Family Trainer ticks the right boxes. But name another exercise, dance or minigame package and chances are it will offer more content and longevity.

I think it might be a last ditch present for those who can't get wii fit.0

Tbh it looks like a fairly pants game trying to ride the wave of success from Wii Fit, a game that, despite the hype, is fairly pants...and on a console that, despite the hype, is fairly pants....It's gonna sell millions!0

I agree the game looks a bit pants.
However, How can you say the Wii is pants, everyone entitled to their opinion but it must be the most innovative console ever made. The groundbreaking controls will pave the way for future consoles. Sony and Microsoft will be copying the technology come the PS4 and the XBOX 720, you mark my words.
I mean what other console has got your mum playing it? Sheer genious!0 -

I agree - nintendo have sold the wii and the ds to every age group - no-one even thought of doing that before (although I'm waiting for someone to say that this is not true;))....- fantastic strategy....0
