Day 13 of 31 and still no heating on though luckily this warm weekend has helped with this
On the NSD front i do not think i am going to hit my total. I had today off work as couldn't get a dentist appointment until 10am so thought would take a long weekend off but they rang me at 9.30am to say some machinery wasn't working so i am now rebooked for 31st and Izzy needs her jabs so that is booked for 25th as get paid on 24th and i spent today at Wilkos and Lidl and tomorrow i am going to the pub to see my friend so that will be a spend day too and if i want to hit target i can only spend on 1 more day this month!
I really want to hit the target though....October suddenly seems a very long month, next month i will not aim so high as its actually stressing me out
I redeemed £6.24 from Cashbackkings today, it won't hit my account until Thursday but as i didn't spend at the dentist today i have put that amount in my ISA already so sig updated.
I have also got over £5 on Dooyoo already which is good, its a lot of fun and everyone seems really friendly so far, lots of MSE people i have spotted.
I am nearly at a whole 1% of our house deposit target, i banked the £50 cheque from Itsyourview today so that will be in ISA as soon as it clears, i should have another £30 heading from scratchcards soon so should be at £265 by 20th October which isn't bad considering this month has been tight as only just cleared debts and still suffering from it.
I was planning on November being the month we really get into the swing of things with saving but because Nick lost a weeks wages (as i have paid his half last week or 2) and now has to pay me back a little each week in November its gonna be December before we really get into things though, he is also buying his stepdads old car so that will affect us.
I also really need to get my eyes tested as about 2 years overdue eep
Still hopeful for my £20000 by May 2010! Still early days, plenty of time ahead!
God this is longNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Hi Lilmiss,
Have you seen tesco are doing free eye tests and you get 100 clubcard points too. I havent had my eyes tested since school!!
Well done on Dooyoo and well done on the itsyourview cheque, i stopped doing there surveys ages ago i should of kept it up.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750 -
I am £1 on my way to my next cheque too
The 2 Tescos near me don't do eyetests, nearest one that does is 20 miles away, work will refund me for my eye test as i work with computers but still £70ish for new glasses, i want new glasses even if my eyes are the same, been wearing the same pair ever day for 3 years, bit bored now lol.
I am also putting my dooyoo reviews on ciao to earn a few extra pennies though dooyoo is a lot better. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
The £50 cheque i paid in from itsyourview cleared today so thats now in ISA, so i have a whole 1% saved towards our house deposit now
On another good note the £25 query i put in for petguard for Izzys insurance has validated so yay! says payout October so if extrabet finally pays up i might get £50 from Quidco end of this month. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
