God i thought today was going to be a good day, just noticed an email in my HSBC account saying as the interest rate has been cut my ISA rate has been cut by 0.5% too

YOu should be able to open a new one that accepts transfers, then get them to move the money across for you, so you don't loose any of your tax free status'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

Not a lot to report, £10 in ISA today as recieved the butlins money yesterday but have just realised that i moved a tenner in the other day already as soon as i withdrew as i knew it was coming! Oh well! I have another £21.10 to hit my bank accounts for cards so might just keep a tenner back from that.
Managed to not spend any money all weekend though and heating is still off, day 19 out of 31 achieved
But my male cat Spencer came in limping today, hoping hes just pulled something and will be ok if i keep him in for a day or two, if not off to the vet he goes although i have no money until Friday when i get paid so will have to borrow some. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Just a quick update, another £10.25 in ISA today from scratchcard winnings that hit account so house deposit sig updated. Should get another £10.85 today or tomorrow but i should keep £10 of that really as put £10 of my own money in ISA, might save it though.
I am up to £13 on dooyoo, can redeem my first voucher too but i am getting tempted by the cash option, if Christmas wasn't round the corner i would defo take it. Still deciding what to do. I need another £37 for that anyway!
On day 20 out of 31 with no heating on still, well chuffed with this so far, am not going to put it on 1st November will see how long i can last into that too but i have no hope of lasting whole of November or i will freeze!
Spencer is limping still but not as much today so hopefully no vet trip will be needed for him.
I am not going to hit my NSD target this month though, might hit 18 but wont make 20, feel a bit guilty as run the challenge.

Another update, day 22 out of 31 on the heating front and its still off!
Not long now and i can put it on, starting to feel the cold now brrrrrr.
Put £15 in ISA yesterday and claimed my first ever ipoints reward today, a £30 boots voucher, not sure if i will spend it on christmas pressies, will probably just keep it towards baby fund (hope it doesn't have an expiry date!)
I did a special survey for GFK media over the last week so should get a £5 amazon voucher for that soon, waiting for 1 survey to validate on Valued Opinions so i can claim another £10 voucher from them too which will be an Amazon one, can claim a £10 voucher from Dooyoo too but still wondering about getting the cash or not....
I got referred for a TNS food diary too which came today, have to start next Monday for 2 weeks then get £15 of vouchers once completed, get it a few times a year i think now i have joined.
I really want to join the TNS consumer pulse panel too, i got an invite via toluna a while ago but didn't qualify, it sounds really good.
On a personal note Spencer seems better, have kept him in for last 3 days and he seems to be walking almost normally now, going to keep him in 1 more day as don't want him flinging himself around until fully healed but hopefully no vet intervention will be needed.
And also i went to the FPC last night and went back on the pill instead of having an injection, now just have to remember to take it after 5.5yrs on the injection! :eek:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Glad your kitty is feeling better
I think we must've done the same special survey for GFK, as I too am awaiting a £5 voucher from them (I emailed just this morn to ask when I should expect to receive it)

wow...lots of busy for you!!
i hope spencer is fully recovered now...they are such a worry the furry creatures...and they don't seem to care about the stress they give you!!
i really am impressed that you still haven't put the heating on...i just don't know how you do it...i've taken to grabbing the puppies and making them lay next to me as an additional heat source...trouble is they are greyhounds so a tad on the bony side...not exactly the most snuggly 'duvets' but definately the most scrumptious!!:rotfl:0
