It is really tough when you are both seeing things differently. I remember being devastated when I discovered that OH and I had completely different views on things like IVF, egg donation etc. Thankfully it never had to be a real decision because I fell pregnant naturally, but I was horrified that I had "assumed" we would both want children, come what may, but he didn't think it was right to do things any other way than "naturally".
His best friend has since become a father through IVF, and OH was genuinely thrilled for him, after 10 years of trying and failing, so I think his views have changed a little, and as I say it was never really an issue for us in the end, but it easily could have been.
Not the same as you are going through, I know, but what I am trying to say is that things will probably sort themselves out. Its just that us and OHs aren't running along the track at the same speed all the time, and from time to time we are miles apart, before catching up and going down the home straight together.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. I have to get out of this mindset though, its going to eat me up inside even more than its doing already.
I have decided to try and sit him down in the new year and see what his thoughts are, hoping if its not drilled into his head every five minutes he might relax about it again.
I am not going over his mums with him today though, not really in the mindset to play happy families as my niece and nephew will be there, trying to avoid children at the moment if I can.
Really need to get back into Dooyoo or some other money making obsession I can concentrate on.Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -

Hey chick how are you?
Well done on the flutter, every time i do that i end up losing money, so i tend to not play games with my free bingo money. Every now and then i always fancy a flutter tho, even if i do lose, its all a bit of fun.
I was watching Eastenders yesterday and i thought of you. I'm not sure if you watch Eastenders or not, but at the moment they have a story about Ronnie wanting a baby, and Jack wanting to wait. So she ends up getting a safety pin, and is about to !!!!! the condom when Jack walks in. I'm not saying you should do what she did, but the stroyline just made me think of you and want your going through right now with your OH.

And well Mondays, yep, without fail you can rely on me to make a comment every Monday on Facebook moaning bout them :rotfl:
But I am off work next Monday so won't moan about that one
Might have managed another £10 to go into ISA today, I joined Bingo Britain a couple of weeks ago as they give you £5 bonus money free for 30 days if you just deposit £5, I have won about £50 so far although wasted some on slots, did withdraw £20 on Friday and in my account today (£20 minimum withdraw), just won another £10 though so put in £10 and asked to take the whole lot out again, hoping it works.
If anyone wants to have a go for a fiver I can refer youNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
