So is he now saying he doesn't want them or just doesn't want them now?

He doesn't want them now for definite, isn't sure if he will in the future.

Thats what he said to start the whole thing off.

Sorry hun I must have re read I thought he had said after your chat he did but just not now.

Your head must be so messed up. Maybe give yourselves a few months and work on your relationship and then ask him again.

Thats strange, because wasn't he the one saying he wanted to start a family at the beginning of the year. How comes he's dead against the idea now?

I hope the realises he does want kids in your future.

Yep he was saying that although did say he maybe shouldn't have said that.

One minute we are talking and hes like I am not ready yet, the next he is well no i didn't say that I don't know if I want them

I might be making a big mistake staying with him but only time will tell for now.

    He sounds so confused.

I think just let it be for a few months and concentrate on you two and your savings but I wouldn't commit to a mortgage together unless he changes his mind as I know life without kids for you is a no no .

I am getting confused too! I really love him and think he would make a great father to a child, I wish he could see that though.

Saving is the option either way, if we split I would still like to get my own place even if its smaller.

Yeah definately keep saving like you say the money will be needed whatever you two decide to do.

Maybe over time he will open up more and give you some clearer decision as at the moment it must be putting so much pressure on you both.

I just want to try and leave the subject alone for now, I can't keep going over and over it it will just eat me up.

Thanks for all your messages though, i appreciate the support and know I will have you all if I need you :D

On the money front I got paid today and rang the bank and got rid of my overdraft :)

Now just to clear the credit card.

Also got to 8000 points on Bingoport finally so will get at least £5 Amazon from them next week, hopefully more.
