Rebecca, its a pity that some people resort to bullying. Some are just trolls, here for that very purpose.

Don't feed them and remember they are far outweighed by the many more decent folk on the site.

Try visiting CAG for detailed advice on your issue.

Best of luck to you and your family!

The only troll on here is "Rebecca" - threatening and having a go at people for offering advice.

I explain (correctly) that banks do not process these payments outside of opening hours and got called a "f*cking donkey". Classy.

Today has been my lucky day.

I logged into online banking this morning, only to find someone has deposited £200 in my account. I have no idea where its came from, and certainly haven't expected any sort of deposits from any company.

All it says on the statement "Bank Credit".

I'm going to keep it sitting in my account for a few days incase they try and take it back.

    Silver Card limit: £400 - 24.9% - Balance £238.50
    Flybe Card limit: £1000 - 24.9% - Balance £41.38
    BOS One Card limit: £1000 - 22.9% - Balance £326.10
    Kays limit: £300 - Balance £0
    Total Debt: £605.98
    Savings: £3,796.61

    followed by:

"That sucks. Since it's in my account, it should be legally mine. It would look lovely sitting in my savings account lol.

I was going to ask the bank where it came from, but I don't want to make them aware that the money doesn't belong to me. I'm absolutely sure it isn't mine, payday isn't until next week and I've asked family if they put the money in."

Suggesting that you are keeping money that has been wrongly credited to your account is wrong.

It is pretty disgusting behaviour. You really should not be so critical of others! Perhaps an explanation is in order, I also think you should apologise to Rebecca.

Please don't post advice to anyone on here given your background. In view of the above, its not to be trusted.

    Apologise to Rebecca? Suck it.

Hello and thank you for the comments ORC and Bingey Burge. I was only on here looking for a way to warn others of this scam and got all sorts of abuse, that i didn't read the terms and conditions properly etc . Some people are just bullies. I just hope that dumb and dumber don't need any advice ever. Since they are both know it all's. lmao.... Anyway does anyone have any helpful advice to give me on this subject because it is very upsetting for me. I really don't have this sort of money to fling away.

Love to all the decent people.

You are in the midst of an illegal act, by keeping money that was wrongly credited to your account, which you admitted to, as outlined above. Someone on that thread even advised you that this was so.

This site does not condone illegal behaviour and you are also in breach of forum rules.

You do not even have the good grace to realise what you have done is wrong. You don't have the sense to admit you were wrong and attempt to retrieve the situation.

Don't go about this site calling people names and being all high and mighty when you are akin to a criminal by knowingly keeping money wrongly credited to your account.

You might be male, but you are no man.

There is nothing left to say really.
