They give a limit which is reasonable, much like the others do, and also pay a tip, which I like.Winnie2007 wrote: »I've thought about applying for this, of course no guarantee would get accepted, but I wondered if you get all your bill back or only a proportion of it. Silent Customers appears to only give back a percentage but I wondered if it was the same for Mystery Diners? Thanks.0 -
Yay I got accepted to this crowd? Anyone still work for them? I am in Northern Ireland and visits are few and far between for them

Have just applied and am also in NI so won't get my hopes up lol. Do they really cover the costs? Is there a limit on the number of people you can bring? I usually go out with hubby and 2 kids, tho the kids are wee so often share one kiddies meal.0

I got accepted about 6 months ago and there's never been a single job in my city (which is the largest in the county).0

Signed up yesterday, as they are finally looking for diners in my city! How long does it normally take for them to get back to you if they accept you? I tried not to sound too much like a 'professional' mystery shopper, but I also didn't want to come off like I can't type/speak properly either...0

I applied yesterday when I saw this thread and got an acceptance email this morning! No assignments in my area but some very close - I'd love to do loads of them!
I must say though, I don't think they will reject anyone who sounds like a professional shopper. The report I wrote sounded very professional (I based it on a mystery shop I'd done at a previous restaurant).
Hope some assignments come up soon!0 -
I applied and just got the reject, I have been MSIng for 5 years and wrote a very detailed report - i didn't put exact timings in as they didn't ask for that, just commented on overall pace and cleanliness.
So not sure what they want.0 -
I got rejected too
The email says "This may be due to your application not meeting specific requirements for the locations you have selected or the quality of your application." I don't really understand this because I live in one of the cities I chose and about 20-30 miles from the other two. I wonder if my blurb was a bit too 'storylike' in my attempt not to sound like a professional MS (I've heard they really don't like that), but at least I was demonstrating a good standard of spelling and grammar. Might try giving them a call and see if they can be more specific about what I did wrong.
How long shall I leave it before trying again?0
