I am pleased about the receptionist losing her job:j
As for the joint accounts, clear them out because if you don't he will.
Good luck with the solicitor and all the best for your C-section on Monday.0 -
Julie, remember if you need anything else for the little one then Freecycle is brilliant and I'm sure friends wouldn't mind helping you out by picking up a few bits on your behalf from freecycle.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

What is the deal with the business - is that where you work, or is your job completely separate? Do you get any income directly from the business? I wonder if you should consult a solicitor sooner rather than later to find out the best options for you, and whether you should resign as a director. If communication between you and your husband breaks down and you stop getting involved with the business decisions, you don't want to find out a few years down the line that the business has gone bust and as a co-director you are jointly liable with him even though you have no idea what has been going on. It's better to be safe than sorry, and get advice now rather than waiting until its too late to do anything.
I work totally seperate from the business - I have never drawn money from the business but did invest by way of a joint directors loan. I have always done and still do the finance's for the company including payroll/acs and hold the cheque books - so have a good grasp on where stuff is and where it's going. Saw solicitor today and he has made a few suggestions, but thinks I would be best concentrating on the birth and recovery before making any moves as I am in a really strong position at the moment in comaprison to him - he relies on the business for his income so he needs it to succeed even more than I do!MBNA [STRIKE]£2,029[/STRIKE] £1,145 Virgin [STRIKE]£8,712[/STRIKE] £7,957 Sainsbury [STRIKE]£6,870[/STRIKE] £5,575 M&S [STRIKE]£10,016[/STRIKE] £9,690 Barclaycard [STRIKE]£11,951[/STRIKE] £11,628 CTC [STRIKE]£7,629[/STRIKE] £6,789 Mortgage £[STRIKE]182,828[/STRIKE] £171,670
