Will do mate ! The asking Price was £400k , we are buying for £330k , So 80% would be another 10K of then £320k . The place is stunning . Dont know what to do Argggghhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!
if you really want it, try £300k. they can only say no.

by the way, open days are notorious for attracting a lot of nosy/ bored people with no intention of buying. it is also rumoured :D numbers are made up with developers/ contractors/ estate agents (particularly if theres a sole agent) family & friends etc. if my business was in trouble and i needed to sell quick id certainly consider those tactics ;)

I must say that I am really impressed that you seem to be making a 10% gain on the place you bought 2 years ago. Sounds too good to be true, if you see what I mean. If it does come true, though, why spoil your run of good luck by buying somewhere else just at the moment?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?
  • This was a £400k property in a coastal town.

    With thanks to Property-Bee.

Our apartment we bought 2 years ago was the last one left to be sold and the developer sold it at the price we offered . Honestly true , no need to lie . Not quite 10% . but roughly 8.5% I think

Thankyou all for your kind responses

My personal opinion is to go for (4), and if that fails go for (3). Seems like a no-brainer to me...
    Hello.
  • Can you come and tell us when you actually exchange on your property or do you think your buyer will gazunder too. Hope not.

    Option 3 for me too.

We should exchange on our place by the end of this week start of next week at the latest . dont think he will Gazunder , seems keen and a nice guy . but who knows eh !!

we may have to move into rented / in laws for a short while as our solicitor isnt happy yet with the place we are buying as it has deed issues and if he has gone bust ( developer ) he wants to make sure every bond etc is in place

funnily enough the EA has said the developer would rent the new place to us until we are ready to exchange on it ????? !!!!!
