good for you and good luck. i think i'll need to sell the car and give money to debt coll but dont know if aib would accept this (getting rid of asset before br) even tho give them money. doubt they are going to coll car after this time, they just say that.

i could wait until it depreciates but with 5 diff values from the car guide dont know which one the aib would use. i'm waiting for app with cab perhaps they'll help. this is what car guide say.

so what if i sell and only got say 1500 aib might not accept?

Would you be able to take the car to your local garage and as them to value it for you. just explain you need to sell it and see if they will help you out, I used to work in the motor trade and we used to value cars for people who were selling it privately or splitting from partner, you could always use that excuse if they ask why you want the valuation. Get them to put it in writing and you can give that to AIB.
