  • Hi Eternal Optimist and everyone else on the site

I found out today that i am going to have to apply for the Lila scfheme and feel so ashamed that it has come to this. After losing my job and new job being low income it all became to much. Tried to clear it myself but been robbing peter to pay paul for last 6 months. but thanks to the fantastic people at CCCS i've gotten to this stage and able to sleep at nights now.

Knowing there are others out there going through this too makes me feel better and think i will need the support of others on this site over next few months

  • :hello: Hi Strawberry:hello:
I think a sense of shame, disappointment, regret, frustration, whatever is something most people on this forum have felt/feel about their bankruptcy so its a normal response. However, I think what is worse is when those feelings result in the person being so overwhelmed that they can't take the necessary steps often required to bring closure to their debt problems and all the horrible emotions associated with debt. You've had the courage to make that move so all power to you:T :T and you will receive lots of support and encouragement from the wise and caring people on this forum. There are a couple of us who have been along the LILA route so post any worries, concerns, questions you may have and between us we'll come up with answers.
I think Dalip's suggest about starting your own thread is a good one btw:T
