Thanks nibs, do you have to pay for this with your TV/Phone bill I would rather do it thru a different bank account! just wondering if they lump it together or not.
Does rolling mean they add on to the next month any texts etc you don`t use or do you loose them if not used? sorry to sound a bit thick.0 -

Rolling means that the contract is a 1 month contract however once that 1 month is over you are then out of commitment (i.e. rolling) and free to cancel at any point (however, you have to put in 30 days written notice).
No, the minutes do not roll over if you do not use them, you get a fresh allowance every month.0 -
Thanks for clearing that up for me, just a bit confusion from the rolling bit! think this may be a good idea whilst I see how she goes and let her choose her own phone.
Virgin seems good at 300 mins and 300 txts for £10 so does Vodaphone but you only get 75 mins but more texts at 500. Then T`mobile at £15 with a bit more of both 350mins and 650 txts.
Can anyone comment good, bad or indifferent on the different providers?0 -

Don't know if you've considered this but when i was looking to go on a sim only deal i found that only O2 include multimedia messages in with the free text allowance ( at a 4:1 ratio) They also allow you to text from abroad using the 4:1 ratio. Video calling is also included in your free minutes as well if you have a phone that is capable of it. Thats what swung it for me. Hope that helps0

Thanks for the reply and advice. I`ve been looking round today and have decided to go with Orange pay as you go £10 month with 300 free texts and the 2 for 1 at the pictures whilst we find out feet!!! looking at Sony Ericsson W910i which orange do in pink or the LG KS360. Both look nice to me but suppose its upto Katie which she likes which most probably won`t be either.0
