CPW O2 also has retention offer.
I was on off peak 1000 and got another 12 month half price and a free nokia 6300. I pay £300 through DD and get auto cash transfer to my bank at 4th and 10th month in total £150. The phone on ebay can be sold for ~170 pounds. So £10 profit and no need to send claim vouchers.

Have you got this in writing or is it a verbal communication. I went thru their loyalty dept last Nov and was offered automatic cashback within 30-60 days and when I chase them I get different terms quoted to me. Loyalty dept pushes to me Customer Service and vice versa. Grrrh!!
So now will be avoiding any retentions offered to me by CPW for the future.

anyone got the address for cpw/o2 to cancel the contract Please?

need to write a letter to cancel and request PAC:mad:

cpw can't give the address till the date i am due to give notice:mad:

but i want the letter to be there on the day so they can't add more days:D

    thank you

I believe the O2 customer service is based in Acton, ie main head office. I feel your pain, went thru this last year, and then foolishly I got suckered by the deal from the loyalty dept.

I have the name and direct number of the person I spoke to. I also called him later to confirm the deal and got the same answer. So I guess the deal was in the note at lease. I will call another person to double check.

£5.80 monthly for only 1000 any time any network is the best deal from CPW IMO.

I spoke to the guy 2/3 times, and yet never got in writing, except when I insisted, then I got a vague email, with a disclaimer at the bottom.
BTW deal sounds very good. At the time, my deal was as good as a new contract, but the promise of automatic cashback for the whole amount within 30-60 days swayed me.
