Time for my nightlies I think.

I've spent the evening watching peter and katie and that callgirl thing whilst doing more family history stuff on the pc.

It is actually moneysaving as living room is cold and as it is not October the heat is not going on so I am in the family room which gets the heat of the AGA as it is off the kitchen.

It is our wedding anniversary tomorrow but OH is in Ireland so no celebrating but I am having tea with a friend in the morning and then coffee out with some friends (ex PTA meet up) in the afternoon. Plus having a friends children after school (the one who's hubbie broke his hip) and Judo for DS2.

No flying apart from dalies on the cards.

    Evening all
Sounds as if there are lots of nasty bugs going roundgetwell.gif is it just those who live or work with children who are affected? They're very effective at spreading germs!;) (Another thing for Pigpenpuke.gifto hold against them!)

Denisehippie.gif - the site you've linked to is a US one. No reason not to help, but it's worth knowing, as a lot of people don't realise

Triker - well done on the weight loss goodscales.gif

Pigpen - hope the assignment is going well. I'm sure you can channel all the energy generated by the antics of your beloved children into something creative and articulate wink2.gif

Kazmeister - it looks like you've had real success in getting everyone involved, as you're certainly making real progress now! congrats.png

Toots - you seem to have lots of energy to use up after your stay in hospitalhyper.gif If you're not careful you'll have this week's lists done before next weekhyper.gif Don't forget that as you've been away you shouldn't need to clean so much as it hasn't had a chance to get dirty hyper.gif

Valli - you obviously don't need to do anything more to your house, so could you nip down and do mine tomorrow?

    Today I have...
    • overslept sleeping_03anim.gifand not made it for my morning swim
    • spent an hour in a traffic jam on the M4 upset.gif
    • left work 3 hours later than planned temper.gif
    • mixed vast amounts of porridge and muesli mix and found jars to put it all in (I mix my own versions of both, and the porridge - oats, purple oats, buckwheat, millet, quinoa, barley, wheatgerm, wheatbran - makes a base for muesli to which I add almonds, cashews, dried apple, cranberry, blueberry, apricots and anything else I have lying around)
    • loaded DW
    • hoovered oats etc off kitchen floor
    • hoovered up spider killed two days ago... I was finally convinced it was dead, as it was flat and hadn't moved since Tues pm scared.gif
I had planned to work from home tomorrow and make sure I got some flying (particularly laundry) done between filing emails... but today's traffic jam and generally being behind means I'm going to have to go in. cheerleader02.gifcheerleader02.gifSo a busy weekend of housework to look forward to!cheerleader02.gifcheerleader02.gif

i failed my list tonight spectacularly....ended up in a big row with DH - think we were both spoiling for one but suffice to say he now feels bad and is washing up!

HM pizza for tea was lovely, got a loaf baking now so we can have bread for breakfast.

wanted to ask dusty and others, I'd like to do more baking and am considering a food processor, i chucked my old one when i moved as it was ancient and cracked. Would really like a proper Magimix....had one on wedding list but no one bought it! Do you think its worth the money? I probably wouldn't do as much baking as some of you (until little ones hopefully come along in a few years) but still...
