Cheesey pots in the oven plus a new apple/cake/bun/pudding thing in the waitrose magazine.

DS2 stropping that his shoes are hurting him, the new ones with the insoles which he said in the shop were fine. I've made him put them back on for 15 minutes so I can see if they leave marks anywhere - he is now in the garden on a dirt board in them, using my washing line to pull himself a long with.

That would be acceptable, thanks, Pigpen!

I have now vacuumed the stairs and done the landing! I have also put the cottage pie to freeze ready for the freezer and portioned up the veggie chilli likewise - needs to cool properly first. Most of pots washed so they need drying which will create room for rest of pots.

I do not know - no clue - what has possessed me today - but the house looks spik and span as the living room was done Tues (thanks mum!) and as you know I do not do DS and DD room - they are to do them although I will vroom through with the vacuum when I do the landing...which I have. Friday is bedchange day anyway here in Valli (or alien) land

It's easy to fly though when kids are out of the way - no babies/toddlers to entertain and feed here makes it a lot easier!

DD needs to do some homwork so I'm off.

Toochoosey - you'll need to sort out why it was defrosting first! Was the door left open?

Kids all loved the new pudding.

    Bathtime.

Dustykitten - dont think the door was left open but it was beeping on sunday as if the door was left open but the freezer had not been used for three or four days and normally it will beep after half an hour if the door is not shut properly. Will get OH to pull it out and switch the plug off, (its a built in one and i'm not attempting to move it, i wouldn;t know where to start!)
Hw long should a freezer last? it was brand new when we moved in about 5 years ago(ashamed to say that some of the food might have been there that long as well......well maybe not THAT LONG.........I hope not.............?

    Morning all.

I'm in the middle of a 14 day work week with one day off . . . that day off is tomorrow and I'm hanging out for it!! Even tho it will be spent grocery shopping and cleaning :o

Puppy is VERY needy this morning. He obviously realises I won't be walking them again today. Poor thing :( The kids are home tho, and they'll take them to a nearby paddock for a play.

One load of washing out last night, two more this morning. Now just to make sure the kids get it in this afternoon . . .

DS3 has his last exam this morning, so I need to wake him up before I go to work, too.

Bank account to check, then I'm outta here.

    See you tonight . . .

Oh, and hugs, kicks and nodding of head in agreement to all who need!
