Hi everyone, busy day here, meeting 10-2 (over ran a little) dash to the shops, went for DS2, park now back to organise, get ready for swimming then back out just before 6pm, what a day! Meeting went well however, everything sorted for next weeks big conference, nervous but sure it'll go well. Of course no studying done so far but plan to get pack ups done after swimming then crack on with some before bed.
Flying :rotfl: well I put a washer load in this morning and hung one out, the kitchens a bomb site, living rooms being used as a dumping ground by everyone so generally things are UPSIDE DOWN! DP has been out most of the day repairing and doing maintainence work on bikes for the disabled group we attend so have to forgive him for not lifting a finger. Plan on getting the sideboard I bought built tomorrow and doing some organising then.
Anyone up for a HHC 4.45pm to 5.15pm? Spur me on to get the kitchen straightened outOne day I might be more organised...........

My mum banned the violin / viledin too, she said kids playing them sounds like cats being murdered! I ended up playing the tenor horn (brass) but gave it up when i ended up having to miss my lunchtime for lessons rather than my school lessons - committed, eh?!
well, DH arrived home in a foul mood, not that i blame him, but I do blame him for taking it out on me. Bit of a row ensued, he apologised eventually, he feels bad now as he was determined not to take it out on me.
he did, however bring home chocolate.
Managed to sort the extractor problem - apparently ours doesn't work with energy saving lightbulbs...we changed the bulb last night. Bit embarassing as didn't check properly whether that was the prob...oh well, agent contacted landlord in Australia who told him, shame they didn't tell us originally!
Am going to drink my :coffee: (well, it's tea), read my book, then soak my aching muscles in the bath (before cleaning the bathroom), and then HM pizza for tea - DH can help with that.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Me tooand if none of you had twigged I would have been forever asking people what a 'viledin' is - you've saved me from mega embarrassment.
Been to work, scoffed some choccie, lazed about, chatted to OH on the phone, spent ages on eBay deciding whether I was brazen enough to offer a mere £60 - found another item in their shop (computer desk - it's gorgeous, I'm totally in love with it) with a 99p starting bid finishing in 2-3 days-ish so I'm watching it.Will most likely bid for it seeing as mine has completely fallen to bits.
The kids are out so I may nip round to OH's to [STRIKE]pester[/STRIKE] spend quality time with him for a bit, anything to put off housework, it's too sunny :cool:0
