  • Another day at work – feeling much improved today. Came home and cooked a lovely risotto and the KIDS helped clear away before I took DS to evening surgery. He is tired ALL the time, struggles to put on weight (can still get in age 6 -7 boxers and he was 16 in July!) and has some of the same tummy troubles like I do so going to get the blood tests to see if he is coeliac too so fingers crossed that he isn’t.

  • Confessions
A couple were lying in bed together on the morning of their tenth wedding
anniversary when the wife says 'Darling, as this is such a special occasion, I think that it is time I made a confession.

Before we were married I was a hooker for eight years'

The husband ponders for a moment and then looks into his wife's eyes and
says 'My love, you have been a perfect wife for ten years, I cannot hold your
past against you, in fact maybe you could show me a few tricks of the trade and spice up our sex life a bit?'
She said 'I don't think you understand,my name was Brian and I played for
    Wigan!!

Toots - good to see you back. I'm glad someone's keeping the standards of cleanliness up to scratch in hospitals!

Hope all the poorly people get well soon (but please keep your germs to yourselves ;) )

I haven't managed to make any progress today - I was out of the house at 6.30am, so got to the gym (don't think I'll make it tomorrow though!). I had a dentist appointment this afternoon and need a filling :o . Annoying, but at least I paid attention when it hurt this time and have caught it early. Then a committee meeting and governors meeting at the school, which meant I didn't get home until after 9pm... and don't seem to have got much done since!

Hopefully I'll get the mess sorted by the weekend, so I can have a blitz in preparation for next week!

Valli - seeing as your weekend has already started, feel free to come round and de-spider my house before I finish work for the week!

Toots & Kazmeister - hope you're now both tucked up in bed and your lights aren't still on when I post this...
