    :T Well done Lauradora:T
  • HI all, quick update coz I'm just catching up...

Been busy in office today as DD came round to help me with some paperwork and stuff.

Started sanding down my table I got from freecycle but it was quite badly watermarked, so had to be sanded back quite a bit - DS came home from college 'not feeling well' (manflu) so as he was perfectly OK once home, I got him to do it, but he sanded down too far and stained it so it was all patchy when I hadn't even asked him to stain it...   This was to be my project and now it's wrecked, I'm soooo p*ssed off... Might be able to do something to it if I paint it maybe, but we'll see...

    Anyway, OrkneyStar - eb*y are selling Stardrops - http://home-garden.shop.ebay.co.uk/items/Home-Garden__W0QQ_nkwZStardropsQQ_armrsZ1QQ_fromZQQ_mdoZHomeQ2dGardenQQ_sacatZ11700
it is 95p plus about £2+ postage, which is not cheap, but you might be able to get it in bulk cheaper?

Catch up and list in a bit...

Guns&banjos- thanks for the info about magnets. It really seems to have helped my wrist. Wierd but I don't mind as i've not taken pain killers since I put the bracelet on.

Lil_me - hugs for you and Megan. Our puppy (aged 11) has joint problems too. I keep forgetting she's getting younger and she's not liking this colder weather. xx

Oh no less than an hour and a half till bed time:eek:

Well no more flying for me today. Had enough. Not long put DD to bed after bath and de nit. That's the second Monday on the trot I've found 1 nit in her hair.

According to her this evening, she's been 'buddied up'(sp) with the class Nitty Nora
If it carries on like this she can be damn well 'buddied down' with someone else:mad:
I'm itching now with the thought of it.

    Near enough LOL

I left babies a bit lat, me. On my 32nd birthday I said I wanted to be a mum before my next one! DS, with impeccable timing (and after MUCH intervention ouch!) arrived to make my dream come true with hours to spare a full TWO WEEKS late.

On Friday I will be (omg) 48

You are perfectly welcome to say I don't look it - and in all honesty I don't feel it!

As for what I am doing - I am trying to arrange a night out (again - two in two weeks?) but we'll see!

Tag In the profession (lol) we always suggest a thorough vigorous brushing every night - but it might be worth mentioning to the teacher...some schools send them (the alivo ones) home! The idea of the brushing is to break their little legs - the nits not the kids!
Presume you're doing the conditioner and combing bit! The suggestion that they only like clean hair is rubbish though - they are not discriminating AT ALL. Well done you for checking!

And MUDBATHcongrats.png(what did you pass btw)
