Tag In the profession (lol) we always suggest a thorough vigorous brushing every night - but it might be worth mentioning to the teacher...some schools send them (the alivo ones) home! The idea of the brushing is to break their little legs - the nits not the kids!
Presume you're doing the conditioner and combing bit! The suggestion that they only like clean hair is rubbish though - they are not discriminating AT ALL. Well done you for checking!
In all the time she was in F1 and F2 she never got them. Except for the occasion she caught 3 from DS, which is a whole other story.
She has her hair brushed morning and night. I have to before bed otherwise it's so tangled in the morning it's a nightmare. I even dry comb with the nit comb. She has it combed and conditioned on a Monday night. Tuesday evening as well if I found anything the night before. If not, then I'll do her again on a Wednesday and a Friday night. With the weekends off. So I know that she has literally got this one today.
Apparently the parents of the child in question refuse to collect her, if asked. And the other/s they have at the school too:rolleyes::mad:
I told the school last week and her teacher said thank you I'll send letters home. But no letters did go home.
Trouble is she has such sensitive skin that I'd be to wary of putting proper nit stuff on her if it ever got that bad. She can't even have her face painted. She ends up looking a 'swan vesta' and then her skin peels. So I can't do much more than I am already.
Sorry that ended up as a bit of a rant. It just astounds me that parents can let their kids suffer like that. It must drive the kids potty.
Oh and I've nicked you sign to. I can't copy and paste them for some reason

How great Thou art - Then I shall bow in humble adoration
And there proclaim my God how great Thou art. My Granny's favourite,
used at my Mum's funeral last year and definitely one of my favourites.
Off to bed, wedi blino, may have time to pop in before college tomorrow, but need to read about the
vascular system again, so a bit pushed for time. Night all, hugs to all and happy flying. x

Rubbish day at work - just far too much to do in far too few hours and of course the one thing I don't do is the one that someone wants desperately - but I've learnt now and won't stay late unless really unavoidable or I end up doing way over my hours each week and no extra at the end of the month.
But when I got home at least I had a good fly in the kitchen - results below - so hoping that tomorrow will be better as I'm off on a course on Wednesday.
Anyway here is today:

Hi all, well whoosh went monday. busy, busy at work, managed to buy DD her birthday pressie......finally. Her birthday is wednesday so I ma !!!!pily disorganised.
Although I had known what she was getting a long time ago, I just hadn't got round to ordering it.:o
Anyway managed to get some wrapping paper and a few other little bits tonight at TK Maxx. Love that shop.
Just now need to work out what we're doing for her wednesday as in a birthday tea, argh, I just wish I had thought this properly through. I have some vouchers for Marks and sparks so will get her some nice food for her tea. So that's me rushing around again tomorrow. Humph, then I need to sort a cake out, thankfully she likes victoria sponge which is what she has asked for so I reckon I'll be ok getting that done tomorrow or wed night.
On saturday we're having 7 of her friends round so it'll be a long day and an even longer noisier night.:D
Oh and I stupidly left out my dry washing last night which of course got drenched by todays rain so I brought that all in and its now hanging all over the house.
So work, baking, cleaning, sorting, shopping, wrapping, etc, etc, OH is doing nowt, how did that happen
Best look at the list and get on to it.
Pigpen, yup hun, your Mum can have a dummy, no probs, another of my bright, moneymaking ideas that never bore fruit!!
Will ring and arrange to drop it off for ya. xx
Hope your not too tired from college.
Toodles to you all for now, best get on and write a list.:pDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
