Right, going to hang out a load of washing and then we're off for our walk.

Hope the news in good news for mudbath. Will pop back in when I get home again. I quite like the name Dotty Toots - I think it's sweet.

I have always worked best under pressure.. which is why everything has always been in such disarray, I have never had to bother before but now I do.. hopefully it will be the beginning of a totally new regime for us.. I am having the children whizz over the back room today.. I had a big strop yesterday about all the things I do for them and everyone else and how little anyone des to help me! Bit of a childish argument but it appears to have made some difference the girls ae upstairs overseeing the tidying of their bedroom.. DD3 just sent up with 2 empty laundry baskets!

I need to strip the remaining 6 beds... I forgot there were so many lol.. I'll have the boys do theirs first I think.. air off the sheets from the line in the dryer then have the other 2 girlies strip theirs and remake them.. then I'll do mine! I haven't had time to do mine for 2 weeks due to the sheer quantity of laundry! The spare sheets from having guests has been done though.

    Jobs delegated today..
    1. The 2 boys.. They ARE doing their room today.. it is driving me mad in there.
    2. The 5 girls.. they can get the floor found in the girly room
    3. Then all the children are whizzing over the back room... or else they are not being allowed to watch X Factor... BRIBERY!!!!!!!!! lol
    4. Hubby is finishing off the doors
    5. I have to
    • wash the bedding,
    • finish the curtains for the middle room,
    • find the uniforms and shoes,
    • S&S the bathrooms and kitchen,
    • meal plan.. on a saving spree this month! The remainder of the water bill has to be paid so we are £120 down before we start!
    • I want to finish knitting the wrist warmers for my sis for her christmas basket too.. and maybe do her a matching scarf or beret.. she likes hats. They are a lovely rat grey cotton.. lol. I'm doing myself some in a lovely rich red next. 87 DAYS!!!!!!!
Drinking my cuppa then making a start!

"Searching for 101 Dalmatians dog names? Disney didn't name all the puppies from the beloved animated film, however, meet the few that were named: Patch, Rolly, Lucky, Penny, Freckles, and Pepper. Cadpig appeared in the original book, and later in the TV show."

  • Was just purging my inbox - not an easy task for me but I am trying to be good!!! (again not easy) and I found this short course which I thought might be of use/interest to some of you!!!!

    Subject: Five minute management course
    Lesson 1:
A priest offered a Nun a lift. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident.
After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg.
The nun said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'
The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again.
The nun once again said, 'Father, remember Psalm 129?'
The priest apologized 'Sorry sister but the flesh is weak.'
Arriving at the convent, the nun sighed heavily and went on her way.
On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, 'Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory.'
    Moral of the story:
If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

    Lesson 2:
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, 'I'll give each of you just one wish.'
'Me first! Me first!' says the admin clerk. 'I want to be in the Bahamas , driving a speedboat, without a care in the world.'
    Puff! She's gone.
'Me next! Me next!' says the sales rep.. 'I want to be in Hawaii , relaxing
on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pina Coladas and the love of my life.' Puff! He's gone.
'OK, you're up,' the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, 'I want those two back in the office after lunch.'
    Moral of the story:
Always let your boss have the first say.

    Lesson 3
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.
A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do
nothing?' The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'
So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
    Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

    Lesson 4
A turkey was chatting with a bull. 'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.'
'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They
're packed with nutrients.' The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.
The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
    Moral of the story:
Bull !!!! might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there..

    Lesson 5
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze
and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.
The dung was actually thawing him out!
He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.
Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung,
and promptly dug him out and ate him.
    Morals of the story:
    (1) Not everyone who !!!!!! on you is your enemy.
    (2) Not everyone who gets you out of !!!! is your friend.
    (3) And when you're in deep !!!!, it's best to keep your mouth shut!

THUS ENDS THE FIVE MINUTE MANAGEMENT COURSE

Is this an available fireman love0001.gif, or one who might have available friends? And I'm sure you don't need the trowelinnocent0007.gif. Your natural charmlove0084.gif should be more than enough incentive to want to get to know you better love0090.gif (although I'm not sure that the charm and wit you display on this thread is appropriate... men are easily scared... you'll have to get advice twocents.gif from avvinabacca...)

Well the house looks a lot better! Though last night I did nothing but make a website for our sandwich shop (must stop saying sammiches), still got loads to do with it, but the doamian name is up and running (for free, bless you quidco for yoru £2.50 cahsback and microsoft office for your free domain name and website builder and what not).

    Bathroom has been scrubbed
    Dishes are done
Staors have been cleared of junk
Car loaded with afore mentioned junk
    Tesco delivery came
    Kitchen window cleaned....

and then I fell off the worktop!!! *WAILY!* my leg has a HUGE bruisey!

I want to get windows cleaned, glass doors cleaned, stairs hoovered and washing done today, so best make a start.

Also, I must study tonight, got a NAB on the 6th, Biology, oh crud...

And LOL at Pigpen doing electron arrangements all neat and tidy! My notes are a MESS! I need to start typing them up.
