Thank you for all your good wishes. Dusty - she's already been out for a walk as we met our dog at the park. They weren't all over each other but they were friendly. We then let them off the lead and they ran around together. She's now in her bed which we've been told to put in a crate (which is massive and takes up half the living room!!) as she feels safest in small spaces. We leave the door open and each time she wants a rest she happily goes in and lies in it. We love her so much already. I'll try and do a photograph in a bit xx

    Hello!
Hugs to all. No flying here because we're the very, very, very proud and happy owners of Poppy. She is adorable. She loves cuddles. She gets on well with our old puppy dog. She is prettier than I could ever have imagined. She's fast asleep in her bed next to our other dog. She was actually in a shed for four months and rescued two weeks ago so that's the first time she had a collar and lead on. When they found her she was yellow and black! It makes me mad but she's ok now so that's what matters. I've got a massive grin on my face. xx

Congratulations.. I am sure after her rocky start to life she will now have a long and very happy life with you!!

Tia.. that is looking like a grand website.. I am sure you'll be very popular! ... Do you do a delivery service for large orders??

Anyone up for another HHC...15:45-16:15? I'm on a roll now and want to get the housework done so I can sit down and concentrate on my admin. DF is sat at his pc creating an ecxel spreadsheet index of all his magic cards :rotfl: and he has thousands of them.

Congrats Mudbath. Sounds like Poppy's on to a good thing moving in with you!

Tia - great website. Keep us updated as things progress.

I'm shocked at how much of an impact Pigpen's lists have made. I wiped the landing paintwork while waiting for the bedroom floor to dry, and despite the fact that I hadn't done it for weeks, the cloth isn't really dirty - even the tops of the doors and the doorframes are pretty clean. So thanks Pigpen... I think I'd better go and have a lie down to recover... except I can't as the bed's covered in stuff from my chest of drawers, bedside table, chair etc...!
  • Mudbath - congratulations on the new addition to the household. Looking forward to the photo.

Tia - well done with the website, I won't have a clue

embb - well done on the weight loss. Earlier question re sweet potatoes - I peel, boil & mash - much easier than 'normal' potatoes to mash - don't need butter/milk & don't get lumps, cook much quicker too. Or parboil & do as wedges or roast. I'm not so keen on them as jackets.
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board
