What I didn't broach at all is the fact that the cheque if I ever get it, will come in my maiden name, I just hope my bank will accept it with a marriage cert, they are usually quite good on all that.

    Hi Guys

I'm here at last again! Finally trying to catch up on 4 days gossip! Was working Thurs/Fri and busy yesterday so this is the first chance to post. Still got about 18 pages to skim over.

Rach the bank should be fine with marriage cert just so long as the chq is not for £000's ;) Technically if the cheque says Account Payee only in the crossing then by law it has to go into an account of that name. But it can take months to do a name change at all the places we deal with so you should have no probs as it was just this year you got married. I had a woman try it on 5 years after she was married! Politely told her that 5 yrs was plenty long enough and she would have to return it and get records amended.

You watch someone else will have answered all the above already lol

Off to make a :coffee: and will catch up a bit more.

Mudbath, how lovely! I have such a soft spot for rescue doggies. She will be a loving and loyal friend to you all.

The website, no idea how to do it properly, microsoft office has a designer thingy and you click stuff.... I need to come up with stuff for the homepage. We don't deliver yet but will do when there is a high enough dmeand. Our next step is buffets and outside catering, aiming to do christmas buffets and thats the main reason for the website.

Windows done, kids kicked to the park (am I bad, I let DS1 who is 7 take DS2 who is 3 and a half, but the park is visable and within yelling distance of the house), going to empty hoover and clean filter then hoover the stairs.

Is this an available fireman love0001.gif, or one who might have available friends? And I'm sure you don't need the trowelinnocent0007.gif. Your natural charmlove0084.gif should be more than enough incentive to want to get to know you better love0090.gif (although I'm not sure that the charm and wit you display on this thread is appropriate... men are easily scared... you'll have to get advice twocents.gif from avvinabacca...)

    Hello!
Hugs to all. No flying here because we're the very, very, very proud and happy owners of Poppy. She is adorable. She loves cuddles. She gets on well with our old puppy dog. She is prettier than I could ever have imagined. She's fast asleep in her bed next to our other dog. She was actually in a shed for four months and rescued two weeks ago so that's the first time she had a collar and lead on. When they found her she was yellow and black! It makes me mad but she's ok now so that's what matters. I've got a massive grin on my face. xx
    brilliant news

And I am a very happy Valli and a very proud mummy because they have won 3 - 1 (it's a cup game) and my DS scored the first and third goals and they were right good uns

I have added this to my post then I don't run

I thought you'd know :) cheers! We're with Smile which is the Co-op and they've always been really good. I've had an account with them since I was a student.

have watched casualty, been drooling over Remoskas - def thinking of getting one. It's probably above a food processor on my list currently! I've just found out there's a lakeland in Bromley too which is near me - and it opens late on a thursday!

right, need to put the oven on for the chicken and then make a cuppa and attack the food plan whilst I'm waiting for oven to heat up.

  • Hi all

Just had a quick skim through and I see congratulations are in order for Mudbath and family. What a lucky little Poppy dog!:j

Sorry I've not been about much, but as most of you know, I've got 3 evening classes as well as all the work I have to do at home, on the subject of which..........

I may well be out of a job in the near future thanks to a colleague. She's currently off sick, so my friend and I are covering her work. One of our funding partners has raised concerns that some signatures are not authentic , so will almost certainly start a fraud investigation which would be likely to involve the police. As we work on the same contract, it will also affect us  and they will probably terminate the contract. In the meantime, we carry on as normal, say nothing to out candidates and look for another job! It also affects my brother as he works for the police so will need to inform them as my relative, if it comes to a police investigation.

Anyway, :hello: to any newbies. I'm off for a quick read to see what I've missed.
