Makes sense now - but surely smart dress, maybe a shirt and tie, would have been good enough - at least he will get full use of the jacket after - they wear them with t-shirts and stuff too don't they and it always looks nice...
Oooh, just to add to the old tv stuff - does anyone remember black beauty, wild horses and the lightning tree? - "go, go, the lightning tree, never give in so easily" he he, I still make up words to songs when I don't remember them...

Morning everyone
Things have not gone according to plan this week end. We have all been very tired (and I still feel like I have a head cold). But I got quite a bit done last night and have been in the kitchen this morning. My friends car was broken into last night...they were obviously interrupted but they've done a bit of damage. insurance came and picked it up last night. And her husband has just started basic training so he's not home until christmas-and all the policies are in his name:rolleyes:
Anyway, so I am lurking but I really want to get this stuff done-and since the td packed up I have to iron the bedding dry.I'll be looking for HHC's but first I need to eat something.
I hope you're all having a good week end.0 -
Ooh, it's still morning (just), and already I feel like I've done quite a bit. I have a big grin on my face at the moment cos I had a bit of a shock when I weighed myself last week as I hadn't weighed myself for over a year cos our scales broke - anyway, I did 30 lengths of the pool, had my shower and got dressed, and then decided to brave the scales at the gym again. I've lost 2lb since last week, so I'm really chuffed, especially as I had jeans on when I weighed myself this time, and after the cakes at the macmillan coffee morning. I called my Mum when I got home to tell her, and she said she didn't believe me! (she was only joking though) I've convinced her to come to aqua class with me on Thursday night as she has never done it before, and that is the only day of the week when they have it on in the evening (she works during the day still). As my Mum has a few injuries (back, shoulders and knee) this should be a good class as it's low impact, and going together should help with the motivation. I used to go to the ones during the day, but they seem to have cut down on quite a few of the classes I used to go to, and now I'm at work, I can't make the others.
Anyway, I've gone a bit off topic - flying wise, I've put a load of washing in the machine and been out to check on the bedlinen that I left out overnight - it's still wet, so will have to leave it there a bit longer. Will whizz round the flat with the hoover in a minute and empty the dishwasher and reload it.
OH will be home at around 1ish and then we'll have lunch then go on a walk in Bosham where my parents live as the weather is nice again. I wonder how long this exercise enthusiasm will last?
Sorry I missed the HHC - does anyone want to join me 11.45-12.15?
