Baggy2Shoes on ebay - Never Again!
Comments

I work in a shoe shop and if a customer came back after only wearing their shoes 5 times and the heel fell off we would refund (with reciept) or exchange.
we sell real leather and synthetic leather shoes.
deffo open a paypal/ebay dispute.
shoes should regardless of material IMO last longer than 5 wears0 -
The sellers name is chestnut661, their shop is Baggy2Shoes, there is the same boot different size on there, item number 280268734638
Found it,
Well she does say in the listing
'as i will most certainley refund should you have any problems with your purchase'
I would have thought that statement would cover it, but theres not much more detail on the listing about her returns policy, but as a business they do have to adhere to certain rules.
I sometimes find it quite odd that on a money saving web site, where we are all looking out for bargins, that the OP is being told that they were cheap so its her own fault, however cheap they are, especially as a business, the boots have to be fit for their purpose, perhaps not lasting as long as an expensive pair, but certainly longer than they have done.
I hope you get it sorted.

Cheapest isnt always best
And the sellers cant be expected to replace every item which ever breaks, especially if the breakage is due to usage or wear0 -
I`d go for a refund, open a dispute asap.
I want compensation just for having to read through that badly written & spelt information! :eek:0 -
As it's a business seller, you have rights under the Sale of Goods Act as the boots are faulty. Regardless of the price, you would expect a pair of boots to last for more than 10 hours of normal wear.
I would return the boots and send a recorded delivery letter asking for a full refund (including the purchase price, original postage and return postage) within 7 days. If she doesn't respond, take the matter up with Trading Standards.
Don't be fobbed off by the seller. I had a problems with an item that was damaged on arrival and the business seller claimed she had no responsibilty to put things right and I should claim off Parcel Force! This was even though the packaging was undamaged, so the item was obviously not damaged in transit. Returning the item, the letter and a call from Trading Standards got me a refund. Here I go again on my own....0
