  • Hi folks,

Well the car is ok now.

This morning just before I phoned the RAC out, I thought I would make sure the car would not start. I did not want to look like a complete idiot if the RAC turned up and it started first time.

Anyway it was a good job I did as it started first time and I did not need to call the RAC out. It does sound like a dodgy starter motor, so it might be on its way out, I will just have to wait and see. Anyway at least I have RAC cover now.

Right I have decided to be a bit more positive in my life and start setting myself challenges most days, even if they are small ones.

So my two challenges for today are:-

    1) Do 30 mins of reading on Organic chemistry (I am doing this because I have started to get bored with my job as I dont really do any proper chemistry anymore, so need to get my joy for the subject back)

    2) This evening I am going to finish filing and shredding, as there was a little bit left to finish. Then I am going to declutter the Library and throw stuff out or give it to charity. Any books I can sell, I will put them on Amazon

I'n glad you got your car sorted mf xx

You have a Library? Do you own Durham Cathedral?

Maybe this is a little known fact, but i'll bore you with this, or should i say, share this with you. I watched a tv interview with the late Jeremy Beadle recently The man most people loved to hate, including me.I can't remember who was interviewing him. But few people know, he was actualy a brilliantly intelligent man, with a love of history, if i've got my facts right. I think he was associated with the comedy route for so long, he never managed to break free, to be the brilliant historian he was. He became the most popular man on tv, until the plug was pulled, then that was that.He built an extension onto his home, in which he housed, 30,000 books, if i remember rightly.Thats incredible. He also raised 10 million pounds for charity, largely for children with leukaemia. Its such a sad story, in many ways. Talk about respect..................... wow

  • Hi folks,

    How is everybody today.

NoHope - Thanks for the kind words of support. How are u?

Well I managed to almost complete my decluttering and shredding in the library last night, one final push tonight and that room should be done.

I also managed a NSD yesterday so that is 7 for October so far.

I made a whopping 10p on the scratchcards today.

However, last night I did make £23 on the matched betting. I might try and make some more tonight.

So my Challenges for today are:-

    1) As yesterday another 30 minute spell in work reading some chemistry

    2) Finish decluttering the library

    3) Some more matched betting with the champions league being on.

  • Hi folks,

Well I managed another NSD today, so that was good.

I have to say I did not manage to get my library finished tonight as I was too busy relaxing and watching the football.
