Well I took the plunge and sold our car to a dealer. I know I probably could've got more if I'd advertised and sold privately but TBH it had been on gumtree and a few others for 2 weeks and nothing and with the current climate I don't think many people are splshing out on big luxuries such as cars and also I know it's prob very lazy of me but I can't really be bothered to do all the test drives etc - I know nothing about cars that's my OH's area of expertise but he is working full time with his new job and I don't want him to have to do all this every evening. Plus the car did have some sort of suspension problem we think - it made a very strange noise which would've put people off so I'm very pleased that we're now £2200 better off and I've hit the £1000 mark hoorah!!! :j
Also this is a big dent out of my £10000 savings for a house move in 2010, so all in all a very good money making day.
Mogwai, no worries about info PM anytime and please don't check my posts for mistakes, I'm very fussy when I'm working but my typing is awful and I'm always making mistakes haha!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

hello all!
i've added another £22.60 from matched betting and £20 that my boyfriend gave me (he owes me £400 because i paid his car insurance for him this year so £20 is a tiny tiny dent in that - he's a student, so i can't expect much!) i've also got another £44ish from matched betting which should arrive in my bank account before the end of the week0 -

WELL DONE TREX for hitting the £1000 mark!!! :j :j :j
Not a productive day for me I'm afraid. Started my new job so have had little time for extra-curricular money-making!! I did find 1p though, woo! And I did my daily clicks/scratchcard. I signed up to W!lliam Hill so should get £10 cashback for making a £5 bet so I'll be £5 better off. I bet the £5 on my team beating Man U tomorrow at odds of 9/1 so I'll get £50 if they win!!! Can't see it happening though:rolleyes:0 -
ooOoo just had a clever idea!
Had loads of foreign notes from my last holiday, my dad is going away so I sold him the notes with a small discount as incentive...lol.
Another £40 to add to the total, and have some US dollars (about £20 worth) to sell too if I can find anyone to buy them
Halfway there - so excited!!We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

I always think its cos my books are all self improvement/help books?
and the kind of people who buy books on green met are the kind of people who buy self help books. if you see what I mean?
I don't mean that offensively since I bought all the books in the first place and use Green met!Nevertheless she persisted.0
