    Everyone is doing SO WELL!

Bails, don't forget the free listing weekend, you could try some 99p auctions this weekend with short finish dates. If you have the lifetime seller+ membership to eBid you can also list free with buy it now buttons. At the rate you are going, professional moneysaving could be your future occupation. ;):D If you fancy founding a guild of some sort, I'd enrol.

Lilmissmup thanks for the word on the scratchcards again - logged in and got another one, today's total is now £1.20 for those :)

Jenna, I hope things improve for you, I haven't read your other post yet but look after yourself and try not to get too stressed out over finances. Slowly but surely gets you there in the end :)

I'm having very serious second thoughts about this Challenge, am facing health issues, but can't stop the debt busting altogether or I'll make my health worse through stress!

So what - someone up there has a sense of cruel irony?!

My post is here (on the new D&D boards):

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1225995

But I am quite upset this evening so it's really EXCESSIVELY long, I won't be offended if you don't read it all I promise! :o

    Hiya Jenna
Please try not to get disheartened - I'm sure you get told this all the time but try to take it one day at a time. I read your other post and you sound very stressed at the mo understandably, both my uncle and my mum's best friend have ME and it is no joke especially for someone so young. I know you're trying to do a lot of overtime to pay off debts but could you not sell some stuff or try to do some paid surveys/mystery shopping etc just to bring in a little bit more and take the pressure off having to work so much. Maybe this is not an option and if that's the case sorry for wasting your time. Hope you feel less stressed soon

So I was walking in town today, trying to take something back to get a few quid and scouring the floor for pennies like all good moneysavers :rotfl:when I suddenly had an epiphany!! Well, not quite but it was just as exciting :D I'm starting a Masters and had an interview on Wednesday about it all. The module is over a grand but I was already getting a big discount (as it's funded by the Teacher Development Agency). So I was ready to hand over the remainder (£335) when I was told that THE WHOLE MODULE WAS FREE!!!! :j:T:j:T:j I don't know how I forgot to mention this here, I was so excited at the time I nearly fell off my chair in front of my new tutor! So I'm going to put that saving into the pot, which takes me over the £1000 mark :j WOOP,WOOP! I never thought that I would be able to get anywhere close to the 1k target and yet I've done it! :T I've been incredibly lucky with payments coming in at the right time, but now I'm thinking the 'money comes to money' motto might have some truth in it! I did get slightly carried away and started thinking 'Wow, if I could save a grand every month that'd be 12k stashed away' :rotfl:I assure you that is definitely not possible for me as that's way more than I even get each year :rotfl:
So, I hit target on Day 25 and now have accumulated £1158.51 - I can't believe it
I'll still be coming here though if that's okay as I'd like to keep saving. I did treat myself to a sandwich in town though to celebrate :o Thankyou so much everyone, I would never have been this focused without you all xx

Sounds like a brilliant idea. How are you all doing this? I guess it's not by getting a 2nd regular job? I'd love to do it but it sounds impossible.

Just wondering - did anyone sign up to jackp*tcitybingo via cashback?
Last Sunday, I signed up to it and played through my £10, but I can't actually remember which site I used to sign up through and I forgot to write it down! :o
Anyway, tonight I got email from them saying that I hadn't claimed my £20 free bonus. I signed into the site, sent them email, as requested, won a game whilst there and have now applied to withdraw my £10 winnings from that, so it could be another £10 into my pot - fingers crossed - I'll wait for it to arrive in my bank account before adding it into my total. But basically, I now need to check and see if the sign-up tracked, but cannot remember where I signed up... anyone got any ideas?:rotfl: (Told you I was dizzy!) :p
