  • Jumblebee - is there anyway you can stop collecting any more stuff until you have cleared what you have got - I know this might be painful not to rumage ANYwhere til it's gone but this is beginning to sound over whelming for you.
I think off loading some stuff to charity is a very good idea - all in a bag and then it's gone, no hanging round for freecyclers etc. Then you have a bit of space to methodically do say 3 listings a day on ebay but no more. When it's all gone, you can start afresh if you want and be selective and limit yourself to x puchases allowed and then no more til you've sold some?
You've done really well with your sales so far:T .

Sorry to change my signature again but I have had a rethink on this mini-challenge and have decided against counting in any interest from savings/ISA or stooze funds, as it isn't really 'new' earned money and already contributes to my house challenge. So, I need to think of more ways of generating new savings and give myself a push to get decluttering for cash rather than Freecycling and taking stuff to the charity shop.

This challenge really is going to be a tough one for me as I just can't get into listing mode and am finding free clicks even less entertaining than free bingo.:o

just over a week in and i haven't earned anything else!

but just listed some books on ebay and am doing a car boot this sunday.

nykmedia - i am finding it difficult to bring myself to do free clicks too!!!!

if topcashback would start paying out, that would help

    good luck everyone! xx
  • another £50!! my sister just paid back £50 that she borrowed so long ago that i had forgotten she owed it to me!

i'm doing pretty well so far, and am ahead of target, but i can't really see my reaching the full £1000. i'm bored of clicking now and i'm running out of bingo sites to get cashback on!

i really need to get my backside in gear and get going with the matched betting, but i'm so terrified of getting it wrong and losing money that i haven't been able to bring myself to do it yet!

i need to get going with selling stuff too - i just really don't want to sell my wii, wii fit or nintendo ds, which i think is where i'm most likely to make some decent money. it's silly, because i haven't used my wii or ds in ages! even since deciding to sell them and desperately trying to find a way to justify *not* selling them, i still haven't used either of them! don't know why, i'm just finding it hard to take that step and sell them!

i'm going to spend the weekend putting my old cds on music magpie and sorting out some books for amazon. don't think that'll make me £1000 though!

NOT GET NEW STUFF??? but i might miss something good!

oops have i been sounding like someone off how clean is your house? :o

I'm secretly having a great time :j (I love organising stuff - hate cleaning, love organising) - I'm only in such a guddle cos I thought it would be a great idea to tip everything into the middle of the floor to have a good root through while i have a few days off.

Mount ebay is now safely tucked under my bed, apart from my stuff that is currently listed & a few bulky things which no longer fit back under my bed even through i have nice big orderly boxes now

my charity/job lot stuff is all in an oldsuitcase (previous under bed storage), i would sell it but i don't fancy someone rummaging in it and then turning their nose up at it, but its to heavy to post so will probably fling it unless i can con my mum into taking me to a bootsale without moaning

:rotfl: :rotfl: glad to hear you are having fun JB -yes you sounded miserable & overwhelmed (to someone who doesn't know you well yet), and had a sad smilie up. Clearly you're not. Good-oh.

Hi there :) Don't despair, once topcashback starts paying out then it's a bit better. I'm hoping to have another £8 ish transfer to being claimable tomorrow, as it's normally last day of the month they update. I really hope it is! Good luck with eBay and boot sale, wish I could drum up the motivation to do either :o Can't I just keep giving all the stuff away? :rotfl:

    Mount ebay

That is such a good way of referring to it, and my books that are listed and then now sitting in alarmingly tall piles on my desk sort of sway when I am typing  so a bit like a mountain here too hehe

Got interest payment and decided not to count  since I budget those already and like Nyk said I want to find new ways of making money in this challenge.

That said, am off to earn my online pitance for the day :rotfl:
