Evening everyone, I'm glad to see everyone is doing so well :). I'm going to have to look at being paid to put ads on gumtree... I sold a bracelet earlier which gave me £28.12 after paypal fees, it will cost about £1 to send so I've added £27 to my figure.
I'll be interested to see how you get on N: I had a look at TCB earlier today after Nyk's post and it looked like they were offering 30p for first add only and only based in 7 major cities, of which Brighton wasn't one.
Bails - thanks and mutual commiserations if that proves to be the case.
I put a few more books on amazon today:j . And took photos for ebay and started a few notes for a few items. Can anyone tell me if there is a sytem to do all the listing but not actually place the listed til you want to (eg I havea couple of things I think will sell better later in the winter, but would like to get the work done while 'in the zone'.
You are all doing really well and are inspring me:T , even thiough I'm an unofficial hanger oner.:D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Trex, I think it's through Topcashback Nyk's doing it.
Well done everyone :T BB, sorry about the Quidco, if it helps it looks like I may not get it either
I took a bra back today that I wasn't sure about so I'm adding the £7.99 to this pot :D Got a bid on Ebay, only 99p so far but it's a start!

    Cheers Bails
i'll check that site out tomorrow before I start to list anything. Have added another £20 to my total tonight - hubbie had some freelance sports massage work so now i've got him on board yeah, even if he does think most of my money-making/saving schemes are mad!!:rotfl:

Trex, what's TNS please and hoe do I sign up? Googled it but couldn't see where to join, maybe I have the wrong thing?

Hey TNS is a market research company that I've been working with for a few years - I can't remember how I signed up but I will email my contact there in the next few days and ask for a link for other people to sign up and let you know.

Hi Trex, I spotted Gumtree on a cashback site then searched all of the ones I'm registered to and found topcashback paying 30p. I have a funny feeling that it is an error of some sort on their part because they have London based ads paying at £3!! Elsewhere, others are only paying 2p. I'm going to keep trying ads on their to see what sort of response I get, (other than the 'phishing' scammers and Nigerian overpayers of ye olde dodgey cheques) and stick with it as I have plenty to list even if it's just once a day. :D

    Thanks NYK
I'll check it out tomorrow - it all helps even if it is only 2p per advert!
  • Have just received payment for proofreading work I completed this week £30 added to total - £220 to date.
  • have just checked topcashback and cardiff is one of the pages where they pay 30p per ad so have listed my business and will list some itesm for sale tomorrow - couldn't resist am off to bed now!

I've checked my cashback and that's advert number 4 tracked with Gumtree, so it isn't just the first one that clocks up, although the cb is just showing as pending for the moment. The way I read it, it only tracks for placing the ad first time around but not if/when you repost. I had another one track on a different site, giving me 150 points but I prefer 30p. I just wish something would actually sell.
