JB, eBid is free to list but not anywhere near as busy as eBay.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

  • Well good to read of your money making exploits - glad you sold MY hat JB!

Nothing really to report, done a few surveys blah blah blah, getting a little sidetracked by planning my garden and gazing at plants on EBay... :o will have to make a little more before I can buy them!!

Well done to all so far :D

:D Getting a couple of hundred quid from my sister in repayment of a loan, that I had forgotten about! I have asked her to put the money straight into my account otherwise I will spend it and it won't count! lol...

Will update my sig when I find out how much it is.

Been really busy, so I wasn't able to put stuff up on eBay on Thurs or Sun, but feeling a bit apprehensive about it, since eBay seems to be so rubbish these days. Want to wait for a half price listing day or something really, but also need to shift stuff so I can plan my money raising tactics over the next three months!

Fingers crossed will do some 10 day listings this Thurs!!

ps does anyone know how long it takes to receive quidco payments into your account once something is marked as received? I have £7.86 marked as received from Healthy Direct right now, and other stuff pending..

I'd say so! But you will miss out on all the fun of agonising over where the next £5 will come from etc...Start again, if you can!

New Zealand - eBid has a site for there too, use the free listings and then there's nothing to pay untill something sells :)

Guessing that was for me? I will check it out. ;)

Here the main online auction site is TradeMe, and you only pay success fees, eg, it is free to list, and then you pay fees only if item sells, there are free sites here too, that you don't have to pay for at all, but they don't get the same traffic TradeMe does.

PMSL about the hat from the bush, :rotfl: that is awesome, will have to keep my eyes peeled when I go for a walk later :o

Things are okay for me, have 16 listings online at moment, and 3 bidders, but they are all small amounts now, and have to think how I am going to get another decent amount.

yahay, been accepted for A&L premier account £150 if quidco pays out will cover almost a cool quarter of my overdraft! :j - does anyone know when it will show as tracked on quidco, and also, when do you get the £100 from A&L?!:T

Long time lurker here who subscribes to this thread, I love reading what you guys are up to :D

I nearly applied for this yesterday but noticed in the small print that you have to pay £500 into it every month and if you don't you have to pay a fee, the fee being £5 a month.

Of course if you are getting £150 money back it will offset this but things like this can be a right faf to cancel. Is it worth it? Not made up my mind yet. What do you guys think?

I plan to just transfer the money across and then back out again to meet the T&Cs Warwick. Areminder in your phone/diary once a month is worth £150 to me :D
