  • hello inspirational people, just briefly interloping again: er, how do I 'clear cookies'. Inspired by yous, toying with the idea that maye I could cope with changing to the A&L and getting the money, but I underdstand it's vital I do this first when going through quidco. Haven't a clue what it means, but more importantly, how to do it. Any assistance greatfully received:o

    :rotfl:

    thought i might list my old rollerblades on gumtree, i rescued them from being chucked out from my parents garage as they are quite new, i remembered i didnt wear them that much cos they were always too big for me, just went to look at them -

    size 10!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    i remeber buying them in the shop, my dad was obsessed with the idea that my feet might grow too big from them (they were expensive) and i remeber the guy in the shop thinking he was nuts - no wonder, who would buy their little girl size 10 rollerblades??? i was a size 6! i did grow to a 6 1/2 through. My dad is only a size 7, where the hell did he think i was going to get size 10 feet from?

    what a nutter :rotfl:

    oh well maybe some grown man will buy them off me...think i will have to say they were my brothers or something :o

    BB just go to tools - internet options - clear cookies/temp files etc.
    Only problem is it then deletes any sved passwords etc from log in pages you may use regularly but for £100+ is worth it;)

    I've had £78 paid back to me for a tent that we bought for the youth at our church. I've added it to my signature...
    I hadn't realised ebay was now so expensive.....is gumtree a local thing??
  • I'm not actually off the starting blocks yet. :embarasse
    I've got £1.66 due from quidco but I'm hoping more will show as paid soon. I've asked for a cheque from Global test market, I have it in mind they're normally around £25ish. I've got enought points to order a pigsback voucher and I've just been plugging away at the surveys and clicks.
    I need to find the motivation to list somethings on ebay I only need a few quid more and I can withdraw £50.

    No, Gumtree is not a local thing, it's practically worldwide now. I found it via a cashback site and have started posting ads there in the hope of decluttering to make a few extra pounds. Plus, each ad I post has netted me 30p cashback. :D

    Go BB! :T

    Anyone who feels they're slow off the marks, don't be disheartened, think tortoise and hare. I've only got £20 so far with no danger of much any time soon but hey, whatever we make by the end of the year is a big bonus. What about telling us what you'd do with varying amounts to keep us all inspired? e.g. with £50 I'd...with £100 I'd...

    Thanks a lot SM. On my computer, clearing cookies is a separate request from clearing temp files and passwords. Should I be clearing all if quidco are saying 'you need to clear cookies'?
