...after reading some posts last night i remembered that last year i'd had an account with Onepoll so, after the rigmarole of having a new password sent to me because i'd completely forgotten it, i discovered that i had £27.40 in it. Wahey! :j
After reading your post I decided to check old accounts and request password reminders. I got logged into Ciao and have £7.68 in there that I have now clicked to claim and am now looking forward to doing some reviewing. I won't add this to my signature until it arrives in my account.
Stacy, I think overtime from work counts as extra income and am sure everyone else will agree. afterall, if you weren't at work doing overtime, you could be doing something else to earn extra, so all's fairI reserve the right not to spend.

Hi all!
I have only just found this challenge, but can I join even though I am late? (great idea btw) I am starting to struggle slightly with my debt-free-in-a-year challenge, so I think I really need this boost. Will be hoping to make headway by mystery shopping, and hopefully getting my teeth into matched betting.
Any other ideas however will be greatly appreciated!

I'm new to this forum, so hi
Can I join this challenge please? I just had to borrow £1000 to buy a car (which I REALLY didn't want to do because I'm desperately trying to kill my debt but unfortunately I need one for work) so I'd love to see if I could scrape together £1000 by the end of the year to pay this off!! I made a net total of £22.52 on greasy palm today which is a start (though I won't count it until its paid out, just incase!!!).
Best of luck to everyone, looking forward to seeing how we all get on.0 -
I found a £5 in the street today, got out of the car and it was just there in the gutter, have sprayed it with dettox just incase.....so only £995 to go:D
I have gathered a massive pile of stuff to list on ebay, picked up some things and thought no one would ever by that, but checking on completed items I am amazed what sells.
Need to get some camera batteries tomorrow as mine died after 2 photos:mad:

Nykster, can you bung me on the list please, you seem to have forgotten me in all the excitement of my arrival :rotfl:
Some great ideas and totals already peeps, nice one :T My cunning plan in joining this challenge is that I will finally get off my b*tt and post all the clutter I have on Ebay etc. I am less motivated than a sloth (in fact I think I am a sloth) but I want the £1000 (doesn't that number sound great!) for the first quarter of next year's 4k too so need to get listing. I'll also be PBing, seeing if there's anything I can get from Quidco and hopefully earning some money from supply. I may even get round to MB again... Oh, and I also have a slightly weird situation where I 'earn' a percentage of the money I save us from our joint account (as I can't work and this helps me feel a little more financially independent) so I'll be counting that too.
Way to go on finding money in the street and winning £500 on the scratchcard, that's my kind of moneymaking :rotfl:
Completelylost, I think it was you that asked about Lloyds, they do take your change, just bag it up first.
My total is off to a not too shabby start with a £10 PB voucher :jOff to put the challenge in my sig.The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Some items finished on Ebay last night, and they paid today!
so I've transferred £30 from Paypal to my bank account! So, I'll update it when it gets to the bank account, but I'm off the starting blocks, yay

Hi, nykmedia, I couldn't seem to message you so I am having to ask within the thread, sorry. But I was wondering what the £2 coins:£112 was referring to in your signature? Very curious!
Thanks.0 -

:j for counting overtime, I'm going to try to bank it all but I will only count what I bank if I have to use it for anything else.0
