The GUS offer doesn't state that memory card or 2 controllers are included. Can someone confirm the exact contents please?

Based on past experience of GUS (and co.) I wouldn't be un-suprised if it was later discovered that their PSOne & 3 games, was just 3 games, with the title of the item being an error / typo. The description makes worryingly little reference to the console, and AFAIK there was never a PSOne starter pack bundled with those three games.

Whilst the GUS offer seems a better deal, I picked mine up in Dixons in person as to date I have yet to grab a bargain from one of the large catalogues that didn't suddenly go out of stock (after ordering), or was mis-described. As mentioned before pre-owned games can be bought from Game / Gamestation for around £2 each.

Justed phoned up GUS and yes your right its only the games you get and not the PSOne and three games.

err.... mow that I have bought one, I can't seem to find any games for it online - checked on https://www.play.com etc. and they don't do them for the PSOne. Am I resigned to rifling through the bargain bins at Woolies ???

Any suggestions gratefully received, sure others that order from this thread will also benefit.

Just reserved one in my local - NOT paying £7 for delivery!! - and am going to 'try' to pick it up right now. Will be buying as many as my little hands can hold if I can find more in my locality.

Superb post (can't find button to thank first poster) and would suggest that peeps go for the Currys/Dixons offer rather than the G.U as the bundle is worth much more in real term value as it includes the memory card and two (count em) controllers and a decentish game.

Just as well I saw this post before the similar thread on Nintendo Gamecubes for £25, as that too only comes with 1 controller, the Cube and NO game, but still pretty much a bargain as you can pick up some good games for this console really cheap.

Enough already, gotta go pick up my BARGAAAIIINNN!!!
