    Well I've got it booked into the garage on Thursday so I'll soon find out. I just hope it turns out to be something cheap.

  • To be fair.. the car ran great once we used the sealant! Yes.. not very fair to do it to a dealership.. but they never asked about head-gasket problems before buying it (and they never drove it) even thought the salesman use to sell MGs.

    Buyer beware :)

    If that last word is what I think it is, you need to add the word off, afterwards. The first word on its own means drunk, which is a completely different meaning.

    Actually it also means angry;

    !!!!ed ;1) To be extremely angry

    2) To be heavily intoxicated with alcohol to the point of not knowing where you are.

    3) Past verb of !!!!

    Anyway, not my biggest worry at the moment. Just found out that my car which isn't even 3 yrs old is stuffed. Thanks anyway.

    They just said that it's burning way too much oil and can't be sure exactly what the cause is. I'm contemplating talking my boyfriend into trading it in for something else.

    I know it's not very ethical but there can't be any come back on us if we trade it in somewhere and don't mention that there's a problem with it can there?

    No it doesn't, not in English, it means drunk. You need to add the word "off" afterwards to make it mean angry or annoyed, in a mood etc.

    You probably looked it up online and got an American dictionary. American is a different language.

    Oh my God get a life, I've got more improtant things to worry about. It may well be American Slang but I reserve the right to use it if I want. If you can't be any help, please give it a break and bother someone else.
