Hi All
OK, let me know how you get on if you makes these - here goes:
Marmite loaf:
3 tsp Marmite
1 tbsp hot water
275ml cold water less 1tbsp
2 tbsp oil
450g soft grain strong white bread flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp caster sugar
1/2 tsp instant or fast-acting dried yeast
Mix the marmite in the hot water.
Add to breadmaker with the cold water.
Add oil and half the flour
Add salt and sugar, then rest of flour, then yeast on top.
Turn bread maker on to basic white.
Wait ... patiently of course (!!) before leaving it to cool then cutting.
Next ...
Apple & Cinnamon loaf
275ml apple juice
2 tbsp oil
450g strong white bread flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp caster sugar
1 1/4 tsp instant or fast acting dried yeast
Pour apple juice into the bucket, then add the oil and half of the flour.
Add cinnamon, salt and sugar, rest of flour, then yeast on top
Put breadmaker on - basic white
Cool before cutting.0 -

Hiya
Of course, you are very welcome - as long as you let me know how it turns out
Naan Bread
200 ml water
1 medium egg, beaten
2 tbsp groundnut oil
4 tbsp plain yoghurt
450g strong white bread flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp caster sugar
1 tsp baking powder
7g sachet yeast
butter or marg for glazing
Put ingredients into pan in this order:
Water
Egg
Oil
Yoghurt
Half the flour
salt, sugar & baking powder
The rest of the flour
Yeast (on top)
Set breadmaker to dough
When the dough is finished, quickly knead on a floured surface.
Divide into six and roll each into an oval (roughly 25 x 10cm).
Put on a well oiled tray and cook for 2-3 minutes until puffy under a preheated hot grill (place 10cm under grill)
Turn over and grill for a further 2-3 minutes until the bread is slightly brown.0 -

Thanks very much, I should have thought of that myself! I've done the apple and cinnamon one and suffice to say......there's not much left even though we had dinner at lunch time and it only came out of the panny after 120
