Edinburgh Straiton has R&M cosmetic bags on at about £2-3.00 (there are three types, and quite a lot there), R&M Eye Pallettes at £3.00 each and Balm Balm at 75p, in the geranium and tea tree varieties. I walked around for ten minutes or so with one of each in my hand till I came to my senses and realised I had about twenty new make-up bags and eye shadows from the last few glitches, and I prefer Vaseline for my lips. So I put the lot back
Oh, one thing I was actually looking for was the travel miniatures and I found the stand. They'd all been reduced to 57p or thereabouts but the stand was picked clean. So I came out empty handed. It's not a bargain unless you want it, is it? Oh well, at least I saved some money!
Well done, you! I don't think I could do this! I don't need any Balm-balm, but I really want some, and can't find any reduced round me - it ends up being a bit of a search for the Holy Grail. Wanted the travel miniatures for a pressie for a friend (I've had my hols, sob) but again, no luck. But the more I 'm told I can't have something, the more I want it....
I'm impressed by your will power tho - true moneysaving! Well done!0 -

i said 'its actually only the magazine i'm looking for, there is an article i want to read;) '. she said she didn't read the magazine..and GAVE ME IT:j :j she wouldn't even accept any money (i offered to pay half)
BARGAIN..a free body butter:T made my day:D
It sounds like something from the Benny Hill Show (hopefully some of you will be old enough to know what I mean!) :rotfl:0 -

Little one had an accident yesterday - was pushed off a slide at my nieces birthday party - arghh. The damn mother saw it happen and didn't even tell the boy off. Anyway, had to get some more Medised so went to Boots off course. Got 2 memory cards reduced to £3 from £29.99! 3 Mark Hill Shampoo's 3 4 2 @ £1 each and 6 smoothies using health club glitch. Got my nieces toddler a pair of disney reins reduced from £12 to £3. Oh and 2 bottles of Meltus cough medicine reduced from £4.55 to £1 a bottle. Quite boring really but a few bargains! There are only two things a child will share willingly - communicable diseases and their mother's real age0

hi all. looking for a bit of help. I bought some boots digital hair straightners yesterday. Plugged them in and the digital bit read Err *C instead of temperature and they wouldnt heat up.
Is there something else I should be doing or are they definetely not working. I dont want to look silly when i take them back tomorrow if its only a case of me not using them properly
TIA0 -
*sob, sob*
Just been told instore that when you use the half price Health Club offers then you cannot pay with pointsIs this correct?? Does anyone know??
Yes- I know and No! - This isn't correct! I activated my health club voucher for the first time today and asked to pay with points for my purchases which were a couple of toiletry things and some 400 mg Ibuprofen - a half price health club item The SA was very nice and said she didn't know whether I could use the half price offer when paying with points, so I did the toiletries separately first. Then she rang in the Ibuprofen on its own, and was surprised when the till gave her the option to pay with points - so I did! HTH!0 -
i applied for the health club about 2 weeks ago. i can get the discount online but not instore yet..do i have to wait for a pack or something??

Amazing! I am joining Vaz119's freebie club
I had forgotten all about getting the Sunday Times until I came on here, so hubby kindly just went out to get me one, unfortunately they had none left, but someone had left behind the supplements when they had bought theirs earlier today so they let hubby have them for free :j woo hoo freebie here I come
(Nice bit of luck considering the bad luck I had yesterday when my oven decided it didn't know how to get hot anymoreReally good seeings as we only moved in less than 3 months ago, and it's a lovely big range style oven
)
So what is everyone liking out of the new Sanctuary range? I usually love all the Sanctuary fragrances, apart from sento, don't like that one at all.3 children under 5 means not enough comping and crafting time
August wins: Krisprolls tin :rotfl:
September wins: £100 H&M gift card0 -
