first time I went bootsing with a misson........and came back with nothing worth noting!!! no FCUK weekend bags around and balm balm full price

However all is not lost as popped into the smaller boots and got the washing powder and washing up liquid 1/2 price to try......even the young SA was impressed and says she will give it a go!

Off to another one tomorrow so maybe a better trip!

Hi, all! I've got pages and pages to catch up on, but just in case anyone was thinking of going to Gloucester Boots, I thought I'd report back on my shopping expedition today - rubbish!

Balm balms full price.

Travel sized minis all full priced (well, I only had 5 price checked, but I think that was a representative sample!)

Clearance absolutely rubbish - nothing of interest or remotely nice.

Couldn't find Botanics moisturising gloves.

Had a 17 eyeshadow price checked and it was reduced to £1.60, so I tried with the free lippie voucher, but it was such a palaver, even tho I didn't even bother trying the 3 for 1 (not like me at all - could have had 1 eye shadow for me and one for my pressies stash!) . There were 3 lippy colours I liked, and I'd printed off enough vouchers, but I just couldn't face trying it again so only managed one go!

No inserts in any of the mags I tried.

Tried getting 3 French Connection men's Xmas sets, £8 each on 3 for 2, and trying to get 3 free bags, as I would have spent £16, more than 3 times £5, but the till wasn't having any of it - came up as £50something!! SA said it was cos it was a Xmas 3 for 2 set, but the signs around the store said "Spend £5 on ALL French Connection..." so I was rather annoyed about that, especially as I'd spent AGES planning what to buy.

Will prob remember something else once I post this, but that's enough from me for now! HTH!

Got 2 of the expert mitts to [STRIKE]sandpaper[/STRIKE] exfoliate my legs, and a nice 200 points too

Also got some hat and gloves for the kids, BOGOHP...just had to get DS a little flat cap, it's just toooooo cute!
