I'm relatively new to this thread (and becoming addicted!). Sorry to sound stupid but I don't understand all of the abbreviations peeps use, eg:

    GWP
DD (at a guess - darling daughter?)
    HTH.

    Can anyone enlighten me, please?
All the common abbreviations are in post 3 of this thread. :)

can anyone confirm if the boots laundry powder is actually non bio?
I think it's non-bio. It doesn't contain enzymes, which is what they would add to make a powder biological.

100points WYB any new botanics organic products

Hi, Has anyone been offered these in the ACM ?
I actually quite like the body oil (reduced just now to £2.49) so, if both ACM + MAG vchrs were scanned=200pts banked! But, havn't been offered them in the ACM.
If no name attached, could anybody help me with some of these!!

Didn't get/need/want any of the CHEAP electricals.. good on the folks that managed this BARGAIN. Enjoyed reading about your visits to boots and could just imagine the big grins...as you all walked out the boots door with the goodies
    xx

    is this the one sophie131?

Yay!!! Got 2 of these today for the grand sum of 2p...great for holiday/travel for me never mind a baby!! Many thanks to whoever found this :T Not quite in the same league as the mirrors or TS glitches but still gives that little buzz when you leave the shop!!

Is anyone else eyeing up the Chrimbo gifts and mentally making a list for when they are 75% off?? :rotfl:
  • What reason do you give when you take things back to boots, I got 2 no7 mirrors to return, but I've never taken anything back to them. I also used a £5 electrical voucher, will this have any effect?

Hi oh what a shame to take them back, I don't suppose that you are in the north east of scotland as I would glady taken both of them as both me and neighbour (hi bargainz:j) were both drooling over these online, but our wee store didn't have them, here's hoping that you are!

    Thanks

  • Boots on Meole Brace retail park in Shrewsbury had loads of the Max Factor GWP (one with bronzer etc) and also the No17 Bronzing GWP yesterday - when you spent £15 on any cosmetics, you could choose one. Stupidly didn't try to get one anyway and see if it scanned...might pop back after work tomorrow - not exactly on my way home, but I need one............ok, just want one...... Was too busy trying the mirrors glitch, which didn't work
OFF TOPIC - I'm also very upset as it appears Max Factor are discontinuing my favourite mascara - More Lashes. No7 SA told me they have a new one out on Monday, which she showed me, but it has a horrible brush... They only had one of the More Lashes left so couldn't even do 3 for 2, although SA did say to keep receipt and if I find them in another Boots, they may be able to refund one I've already bought and then sell it back with another 2 in order to get the 3 for 2...fingers crossed!!
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?
