Oh what a shame that the No7 electricals glitch has been busted :(

Really hope I (and others) do get our .com orders now. I had an email saying my order had been dispatched yesterday aternoon, with a HDN reference, so fingers crossed.

Re the Advantage Card Police - my daughter (13) really wants to get an AC of her own but I'm a bit wary now. Obviously I have a card and I got one for H too (mostly for offers from the ACM :o ) but it's never been used so has no points on it. I'm worried we may be pushing our luck by getting daughter one too because that will then be 3 cards at the same address  I'm thinking maybe she should register her's at my mum & dad's address - what do you think?

I think you have to be 16 to get an ad card now hun, unless you dont put the dob on the app form? hth x
  • Sally, I think you can only use the vouchers on a £30 spend or over but the till might see the original price of £39.99, not sure.

I'm sure I've read on here that a lot of people prefer the Revlon illuminated mirror as the lights are stronger. That's £19.99 full price, I don't know if they ever have offers on it.

Oh, do you? What a shame. I'll check next time I go in...... she's been asking me for weeks to pick her up an application form, but baaaaad mum that I am, I keep forgetting :o Too busy doing my 'action man eyes' along the SELs looking for bargains ;)

Edit - stupid me, I forgot you could apply for it on .com! Have just applied for one for her and put her correct DOB and it accepted the application and said her card would be with her in 2-3 weeks :)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

The Bond Street (London) store has mags with the insert, managed to pick one up yesterday, and they have the weekend bag instock. Does anyone know if the free bag wys £5 goes through ok with this voucher? Will probably use the SS tills.

Managed to get a R&M Metallics set for £4.50 and 2 Lip Kits for £3 each and 342. Still really want the Brown R&M Eye Pallette so if anyone finds one for £3 please pick it up for me and I will send you the money/postage!

Also found a pink Balm Balm reduced to 75p!

Gutted I missed out on the mirrors, my bank account isn't though lol!

    Hi

Not sure if this has already been answered, will delete if I find it has.

The free bag WYS £5 does work with this offer. I went throught the manned tills as well and the SA didn't appear to notice. I didn't even disguise it, thats all I bought:rotfl:

    Thanks :)
Well, the story, after much wrangling and three trips to the local store was:
CS gave me £20 credit on my AC to go and buy a mirror, which the store then honoured at half price 342 etc etc and allowed me to use my £5 electrical so 3 mirrors for £15.00 and finally they gave me a £5 gift card to make up for the fuss and the manager was lovely about it. Really lovely!
Top marks to Drakehouse, thankyou and whoooooo mirrors.

Obsessing about remortgaging and interest rates all day, every day:)

I have 2 cards of my own ( one is old and I cant find t anyway)and my daughter and OH have one each. My son does not so I think I will get him one aswell. Boots are only interested in getting our money off of us and I dont think they care how many cards we have. I often use my hubbys ( when I cant find mine) and nobody has queried it yet. Get her a card and let her join us fellow Bootsers!!

    TOTALLY OFF TOPIC
Older bootsters check your pink driving licence cards - they're only valid for 10yrs then you have to have the pic updated or face a £1000 fine

Managed to get 3 of the R&M metallics sets (they're nothing like what I imagined they'd be like) by rumaging in the drawer :o

There was also a long thin black box with blue writing - should we have got those too? I've seen peeps mention lip and eye pallets for £3 and have a horrid feeling those were maybe them......
