Thanks Princess. x My card's given up the ghost (very old, worn out chip) and am waiting oh so impatiently for the new one, so I couldn't check if any points had been added. Is it worth me ringing now, do you think, or when the new one arrives?

Also, I noticed that in the 3 Protect & Perfect big boxes I got for Xmas presents that the vouchers are out of date, so is it worth mentioning that as well, do you think? (have never spoken to any-one from CS).

    (((newbie me)))

Give CS a call and complain about them. I had the points credited to me. :D

I swear one member here said once that she was using her exfoliating mitts to sand down her window frames :D

Thanks for the Dior boxset info scorpiokitten, I only had time to hit the thanks button and run yesterday :o Boxing Day morning I'll be outside Boots for my perfume box sets :rotfl:

Ooooh, good idea. Maybe I shall do that! Don't do it on spots on your face, knackers your skin up! I am living proof. *** The glitch is well and truly over. Asked a lovely NO 7 SA (normally they are not lovely!) if the items were on half price and 342. She said no. Then chased after me and said yes. I was like RESULT. Took some to the till, didn't work. She apologised, and I just acted dumb and said I would leave it. Oh well. At least I managed 6 Eyelash Curler things yesterday. *** I know this is not a glitch, but I do surveys for IPSOS and VALUED OPINIONS. Just got £40 worth of Boots vouchers through the post this morning from IPSOS for all the surveys I have done for them over the last few months. If any of you ladies/gents are short of cash, you should give surveys a go. I think they have a section on MSE to do with surveys. You don't make shed loads of money and it does take a while for it to build up, but then you get vouchers at the end of the day. www.valuedopininons.co.uk and for IPSOS I think you will have to google it. Cheers.

i would NOT call CS unless it was absoloutly necescesary ...i phoned a few weeks ago as the store had overcharged me on a camera ..and yesterday i went into a store and my adv card came up as invalid ...i phoned cs and they said my card had been cancelled ...not by me ... TODAY i got a letter from head office saying the card at my address had been cancelled

    ...

So sorry to hear this happened to you! But you make an important point, which is it's not a good idea to call attention to your ad card unless perhaps you've only got one card at your address and it's squeaky clean. It's really a shame that they took your cards when your only "fishy" thing was two people in PC -- and both of the people were actually parents!

I've actually wondered about this too hunni, and it seems that sometimes ringing CS to get things sorted out or points added sometimes draws attention to people's ad cards, which may have normally gone unnoticed.

Tried No7 Mirror glitch today (hubby was gonna pay :D) but it didn't work :( Oh well, I got a few pink balm balms with points, so my ad card is feeling a bit bare now, what with a xmas gift set splurge and my being skint so paying for every item with points....it would need a mega glitch to get mine back up in time for the sale :rotfl: Here's hoping everyone heeds my pleas for boots vouchers for my birthday and xmas!!!:o And still no xmas mags in my local :(

ETA: Oh and after me complaining about the JF Elite club, what should turn up in post but my JF club membership :o My vouchers have pics of products on the front, so do you have to redeem them from those products or can it be any?

I used mine in Tesco and they took all three no problems at the same time.

Was gonna try and risk getting the shampoo and conditioner, along with a styling item as they are 342 at boots, then using all three coupons, but not sure if the SA will see the pics on the front and assume you can only get those products, esp if they beep :)

ETA: Won't be able to try it for a couple of weeks though, so will 342 still be on then?

ETA2: Is the 1/3 off certain perfumes in store as well as online? Because they have CK Crave (its for men, so maybe a good OH xmas pressie) for £13.61 online...which means if it was instore, you may be able to get it for £8.61 with the £5 off fragrance voucher?

Used up quite alot of my points this morning on clothes for my DD (clothes are buy one get one half price atm) and a few toys (3 for 2)for christmas/birthdays, don't want to risk loosing them tbh!

And i am going to be hated by my children in years to come, bought 3 pairs of matching christmas PJs for them to wear on Christmas eve (on 3 for 2 and paid with points). Figured this is the last year i'l get away with it lol.

Was lovely walking out with bags of stuff knowing i hadn't paid a penny for it :)

to be honest had a sniff of the testers in boots and my dd2 said that one of them smelt like nail varnish remover!! she wasn't wrong. but the smell did fade quite quickly.
