Think I might do my teenage DS a Rock hamper - In a DVD storage box (about £2 in wilko), couple of CD's or a DVD of one of his fave bands, a t-shirt, a calendar, some patches for his bag/jackets all wrapped in cellophame with unravelled old cassette tapes as packing Teenage Boys are so hard to buy for though i would share this.

  • Im getting my oh some tshirts, trousers, socks, choc and possibly a movie hamper :)
    'They only had one cow!'
  • My oh never ever buys himself any clothes. So I will buy him some socks pants etc. Also a bottle of rum. and a choclate orange, that is the only choclate he likes. I would like to think of somthing more inspired as last year he bought me a digital camera and the year before a printer scanner. Oh I dont know. He doesn't bother with aftershave or anything, just uses whatever shower/bath stuff that is lying around. I did knit jumpers for all the men last year, on my knitting machine and they were all very pleased and have worn them a lot including the oh. But not really got time this year. I might have if I got off the computer though. I will have to see. Everyone elses presents are bought except for the flute my dd wants and I will order that shortly.

I hope your OH and my OH aren't the same OH - mine is also nicknamed monkeyboy, and has a princely collection of monkey related items.

Mine always gets a mix of surreal and occasionally useful things: this year he's getting -

a set of antique insurance papers (for a pig)
    Creepshow on DVD
    a hoverdisc
    a hologram chamber
    a multitool pen
a NASA poster (the title at the top is Exploring Uranus :rotfl: )
    a Tshirt
    an echobot
    an Elvis duck
    aftershave
    pirate stickynotes
underpants with Swarovski crystals on them :rotfl:
    a couple of books

What I'm proud of is that I spent just under £50 on him.
Please can you tell me where you got the pirate sticky notes ?
