It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Oh my god Gemmz!!!! That's disgusting how they've treated you!!! I'd seriously put a complaint in writing to them as that's just disgraceful.

Thanks Sar, I still want the job should it be possible later, it just sucks as I now have to find a job to keep me going until then for 16 hours in a bloody credit crunch :(

  • very clever, love the cat vid!

ooooooh, I'm pooped, I can't do any more. Apart from 45 minutes with Charlie and doing the washing up I've been working since 9 and that's another 9 hour day this week.

The lack of time to do AQA this week is worrying but I keep pushing it to the back of my mind. Apparently OH is out tomorrow night so the plan is office 8-2, then Charlie until 3, then teaching planning 3-6 and then AQA from 6 ish until my brain goes bang - probably around 9!!

Hey BB, your weightloss figure has gone up! :T Well done, that's brilliant!

I haven't been on the SW thread because my scales have broken, but I've lost a bit more I think. Just can't afford new scales till next month, lol.

  • not as quick as I'd like it to be Snags with the huge amount I have to shift :( Just focusing on one day at a time, I'm kind of thinking of it like someone on DFW who has a huge amount to pay back and a DFD somewhere wayyyyyyyyyy off in the distance but they keep plodding on and get there little bit by little bit. They fall off the wagon but as long as they get back on, they'll get there.

Probably wasn't good that I included Value Chocolate Digestives in the shopping that came today. They ain't gonna get me nowhere on the road to slim and sexyness!!!

I've just read '7 ways to change your life' and he says to see any big challenge as lots and lots of 3% stages - as long as you can achieve the 3% then you can move on to the next one so always make sure the bitesize challenge is easily achievable and you know you'll be successful. He suffered from depression and broke it down as far as 'get out of bed' and then added on 'brush teeth'.

20 pounds is a bit more than 3% but as long as I can achieve that, I'm then going to go for lots of small goals over a long period of time.
