I've been very busy
washing,
vacuuming,
painting the last bit of my kitchen wall
washing the kitchen floor
cleaning windows & mirrors
emptying bins
and...MSEing!

am back from work. Read about Hyatt, sad situation

Lots still to do preparation wise for my teaching starting. The 3 aprons I ordered have arrived, I think I need to buy a couple of cheap kitchen timers today as well as lesson plans and some course notes.

All the cheap digital kitchen timers on ebay come from Hong Kong. Can't see they would be with me by Tuesday.i'll have to pay a bit more and get one from a UK seller.

I've overspent today
. I bought a sandwich when out with my dad and sister for lunch, they were over from Scarborough so I met up with them. But mainly it was on books.
2 for £1 from a charity shop.
4 hardbacks for £8 from a charity shop (three of them were ones I've wanted for ages, I wanted to get all hardbacks for one of my favourite authors cos I just wear out the paperbacks).
3 (2pb 1hb) from a stall on the market for £3.30.
Then it got a bit bizarre when I got home. While I was out apparantly a strange ('mad' was the word my bf used) bloke brought round a bag of four copies of the same book that he found in his bin. I've no idea who he was or where they've come from. It's coming to something when the neighbourhood think of you as a person to dump random books on! It's a fairly new book though and one that I'd probably have read at some point. Just very strange!
So now I'm skint for the rest of the month, but with lots of books to occupy me and stop me wanting to spend!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
